Roku’s first time at @peddlermk 🔥🔥

Won’t be the last, thanks to those that swung by to give us a try whether it was for food off the Binchotan grill, fresh made sushi or just to say hi! We’ll be back very soon!👋🏼

Sheffield continues to be a hotspot and destination for some solid restaurants whom customers locally and further afield enjoy on a regular basis and for special occasions. Here’s a quick toast and thanks to all the business owners, employees and customers who make it all work and make Sheffield a better place in the hospitality industry 🥂

Thanks @condenasttraveller & @ashleigharnott for spending the time to come visit and checking out the local Yorkshire scene 🙇🏻‍♂️ taken in Rokusheffield by @rokusheffield

We promise and we deliver 🍔

That’s right, the second street food lineup for our 13th birthday celebration is here 🎁

We’re talking fresh Sushi and Kushi from Sheffield’s finest Japanese restaurant, sizzling handmade Gyoza 🥟 & 8 more traders with equally indulgent speciality dishes…

You’d be forgiven for thinking we may have filled our boots when we hosted the British Street Food Awards final last month🏆… somehow we got even hungrier!?
If you missed the action there, then pay attention! 👀 These two food lineups will certainly make up for it!

We have gluten free, veggie & vegan options: be sure to ask traders or drop us a message if you’d like to know more 🌱 🍜

Those that visited us over the last few months probably met Arun. We knew he wasn’t staying long, with us at ROKU but we wish all the best with his future. He brought smiles and a fabulous service.

We’ve named the gifted plant as Arun so you can still come say hi. ✌🏼😂 🌱

Grilled Hamachi Head? Yes please. 🐟🔥

While visiting Sheffield, I discovered this incredible special at Roku, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The Hamachi Head was grilled to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, rich, flavourful, and definitely the star of the meal.

We also enjoyed crispy karaage, delicious gyoza, and an impressive selection of sushi rolls and gunkan. Everything was beautifully presented, and the freshness of the ingredients really shone through. 🍣✨

A special shout-out to Chef Owner @sheff_tomo for the outstanding hospitality. From the warm welcome to the genuine passion behind every dish, he made our dining experience even more memorable. It’s always a pleasure to meet chefs who put so much heart into both their food and their guests.

If you’re exploring Yorkshire and craving authentic Japanese food, this is definitely a spot worth adding to your list!

🍔 Doin' what Peddler does best 🌱

Since 2013, we've been the hub for hundreds of the UK's most innovative, creative and downright baddest street food traders!

We're constantly building our A Team, and at Peddler next weekend you can catch a glimpse. From sushi and fried chicken to incredible veggie menus, there's something for everyone.

Another news flash... 💥 Thought the World Cup was fun? This brings us onto the @britishstreetfoodawards ... That's right – we're honoured to be hosting the grand finale of the competition. Expect a three-day mega Peddler as the best traders in Britain take over our warehouse 🥇

Save the date: 4–6 September. In the meantime, get your appetite going at Peddler next weekend. 🍔🍕
