A beautiful, ambient, Japanese restaurant located in Sheffield, this little gem was absolutely wonderful to visit.
We had a mix of, small plates, veggie, fish dishes and specials. Washed down with a mix of soft drinks, beer, sake and a stunning glass of Riesling (much to Paige’s delight). Every dish beautifully served, and freshly made, all of which hit the mark, with great service alongside.
We will absolutely be making a return on chefs bench to watch the magic happen next time ✨

We promise and we deliver 🍔

That’s right, the second street food lineup for our 13th birthday celebration is here 🎁

We’re talking fresh Sushi and Kushi from Sheffield’s finest Japanese restaurant, sizzling handmade Gyoza 🥟 & 8 more traders with equally indulgent speciality dishes…

You’d be forgiven for thinking we may have filled our boots when we hosted the British Street Food Awards final last month🏆… somehow we got even hungrier!?
If you missed the action there, then pay attention! 👀 These two food lineups will certainly make up for it!

We have gluten free, veggie & vegan options: be sure to ask traders or drop us a message if you’d like to know more 🌱 🍜

Peddler, what a weekend!

📸 Take a glimpse into Peddler after dark with these photos from @jacob.fisher74

Thanks to all our amazing musical collaborators and artists, traders and food stalls, and of course... you guys 🖤 We launched our new plan in June with an extra emphasis on music in addition to street food and market stalls 🪩 Lots of people have asked us how it’s going and the answer is FANTASTIC!

It’s been super fun testing different festival site layouts, including wayyy more comfortable seating and little quirky features like the art wall and creative kids activities 🎨 Seeing so many people enjoying themselves and one another’s company across the venue is our ultimate measure of success!

Next up:
The British Street Food Awards Final 🍔 4-6th Septermber: First time the event has come to Sheffield. 3 day mega peddler with a massive emphasis on food.

Peddler’s 13th Birthday 🪩 2-3rd October: Featuring a ridiculously impressive lineup that we are BUZZING to share.

Stay tuned 🍻

Grilled Hamachi Head? Yes please. 🐟🔥

While visiting Sheffield, I discovered this incredible special at Roku, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The Hamachi Head was grilled to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, rich, flavourful, and definitely the star of the meal.

We also enjoyed crispy karaage, delicious gyoza, and an impressive selection of sushi rolls and gunkan. Everything was beautifully presented, and the freshness of the ingredients really shone through. 🍣✨

A special shout-out to Chef Owner @sheff_tomo for the outstanding hospitality. From the warm welcome to the genuine passion behind every dish, he made our dining experience even more memorable. It’s always a pleasure to meet chefs who put so much heart into both their food and their guests.

If you’re exploring Yorkshire and craving authentic Japanese food, this is definitely a spot worth adding to your list!
