Yesterday was Mathew Maclean's Musical Theatre open mic at the Tranzac Club. He takes the summer off, so this was the first one back. I always enjoy having the opportunity to sing and watch other amazing vocalists. Everyone was so good yesterday. Here is my version of "Back to Before" from "Ragtime" by Stephen Flaherty & Lynn Ahrens. It is on Broadway again and is a show worth seeing, particularly given everything going on in the world now.

Another fun time @distilleryto with Vanessa from Good for the Soul Line Dancing! I really enjoy the beginners sessions on Fridays which will now continue until October 9th! As you can see, I started to become more relaxed as time went on and began smiling at my husband Brahm who was taking the pictures🥰

Had another great time on set yesterday for "Rooms: Traditions". Wonderful cast and crew. Always a bonus to work with people whom I have worked with before like Steve Zmijak & Diego Dominguez Garay, We met on the set for "This Sick Feeling" which will be released on Aug. 31, 2026. Also worked with Maarten Colenbrander, First Assistant Director & Pablo Balboa, Gaffer, having met both of them when we filmed "Grease Trap" in April 2026. It was a pleasure meeting and working with our director, Jules Costa. I have been fortunate to have these experiences.

This is the full video of a scene that I did with Nigel Vonas a while ago. It is a from a 2023 film called "Penitentia". I played the role of Warden Martin. It was a project that Nigel Vonas worked on.

Just taking a trip down memory lane again and came across these articles from 1982. Back in those days, I was working as a psychiatric staff nurse and pursuing a career in singing on the side. That was way before I ever thought I would be acting! You never know what the future will bring! 🥰🎼🎥

This is a song called "Take Me to the World" by Stephen Sondheim from his movie, "Evening Primrose". It was written for television in 1966 and done in the style of the "Twilight Zone"which was a popular TV show at the time. Sondheim has always been one of my favorite composers since his material tends to tell stories that are wonderful for actors. Most people are familiar with "Send in the Clowns", but not a lot of his other songs. My vocal coach, Louisa, recently showed me a picture of an evening primrose which she has at home. I did not realize that such a flower exists and therefore its significance as the title of this movie.

I have not posted a monologue in a while and have been working on this one with David Reale. I chose it because the message is so pertinent for today. I am Eve in "Myth, Propaganda and Disaster in Nazi Germany and Contemporary America" by Stephen Sewell. This play is about the after-math of September 11 and is set during the Bush Administration in America. The protagonist, Talbot, is an Australian lecturer at an unnamed New York University who is struggling to hold back his criticism of America’s War on Terror. In scene thirteen, Talbot’s partner, Eve is speaking to her therapist and a thought about the rise of artificial intelligence launches Eve into a moment of self-realisation.

The beginning of another month at MAP. Such a safe, welcoming and fun place to learn. In June, I will be there 2 years and I continue to learn so much, particularly how to embody my characters vs. thinking about who they are. Thank you Chelsea for your ongoing support, encouragement, and helping me on my path of self-discovery and learning to tolerate discomfort.

Another evening with Nigel Vonas' Acting Collective. This time, I was playing the role of Agnes in "A Delicate Balance" by Edward Albee, having the opportunity to work the scene on camera.
