Here’s a snippet from Act III of Mamet’s Oleanna where I played the part of Carol across from my terrific scene partner @jakerostance. This was the last 5 weeks (swipe for the how it started vs how it went) of scene study class with Nigel Vonas. There is so much more to learn from the play and the script in order to get comfortable in the character but I’m appreciative of us being able to get to this point in the time frame we had. Here’s to more acting challenges, learning opportunities and to meeting other actor humans along the way. #torontoactor #torontoactress

The sky changes, and so can you.

One day it’s painted in brilliant golds and pinks, the next it’s soft and grey, and sometimes it’s stormy and wild. But no matter what, the sky never stays the same—and neither do we.

Change can feel uncertain, but it’s also proof that life is alive within us. Just like the clouds drift and the light shifts, you have the power to move, to grow, and to transform into something new.

You are not meant to stay the same forever.
So when life starts to shift, look up.
The sky’s been doing it beautifully for billions of years—you can too.

What. A. Weekend. 🎬🔥

I had the joy of acting and working as Assistant Director on this incredible short film — and what a ride it was!

Our cast was absolutely phenomenal — so much talent, heart, and raw presence. Every scene was electric thanks to the energy and generosity everyone brought to the work. I feel lucky to have witnessed such standout performances up close.

A huge shoutout as well to our professional and patient crew, who kept everything running like clockwork — even when the AC had to be turned off during takes (🥵 shoutout to everyone who sweat with grace!).

And of course, massive congrats to @tccm72 on his directorial debut. Your vision, humour, and leadership made this weekend unforgettable.

Can’t wait to see the final cut. With a cast like this, it’s going to be something special. 💫

We all know and love Margo Martindale — even if you don’t know her name off the top of your head, you’ve definitely seen her light up the screen.

She’s been unforgettable in TV series like “Justified”, “The Americans”, “Dexter”, “The Good Wife”, “BoJack Horseman” (as herself!), “Sneaky Pete”, “Mrs. America”, and most recently, “The Sticky” — a wildly fun series based on Canada’s infamous maple syrup heist.

And don’t even get us started on her film work: “Million Dollar Baby”, “August: Osage County”, “The Hours”, “Walk Hard”, “Dead Man Walking”, “Win Win”, and yes — even “Cocaine Bear.” She does it all.

Margo Martindale deserves way more praise.

She’s not just a character actress — she’s a masterclass in storytelling, capable of commanding a scene with the smallest gesture or shift in tone. Subtle, fierce, hilarious, heartbreaking — she makes every role richer.

She’s the kind of actor who makes everyone around her better.
It’s time we say her name with the reverence she’s earned.

Here’s to Margo Martindale: an icon hiding in plain sight.
