I am looking for two para athletes.
One on the road to the France 2030 Winter Paralympics.
One on the road to the Brisbane 2032 Paralympics.
Not athletes because they are favourites for a medal.
Athletes because they are willing to let people see the journey.
Over the coming years I want to document the reality of elite para sport through both analogue film and digital photography.

The training.
The travel.
The exhaustion.
The setbacks.
The tears.
The triumphs.
The moments nobody sees.

The project will follow two athletes as their lives unfold between now and the Games.

As someone living with disability myself, I am particularly interested in athletes who navigate both visible and hidden disabilities. Athletes who may also live with ADHD, Autism, AuDHD or other forms of neurodivergence alongside their sporting journey.

Due to my own mobility limitations I am seeking athletes competing in sports that are primarily indoor or based within contained venues.

For the Summer Paralympics this may include:

• Wheelchair Basketball
• Para Climbing
• Para Fencing
• Other indoor para sports

For the Winter Paralympics this may include:

• Para Ice Hockey
• Wheelchair Curling
• Other indoor ice-based sports

This is not a project about standing on a podium.

It is about everything that happens before you get there.

If you are passionate about telling the other side of the story.
The years before the applause, the sacrifices, the setbacks, the resilience and the reality behind elite sport.

Hi, I’m Adam.

For most of my life I moved at full speed through life building businesses, working across multiple industries and constantly chasing the next challenge.

Then everything changed.

Chronic illness, disability, loss and major life shifts forced me to rebuild from scratch.

Photography became part of that rebuilding process.

This page shares black and white photography, disability advocacy, adaptive creativity, wheelchair sport storytelling and the quieter reality of rebuilding life when your body works differently.

And occasionally knitting because honestly it helps more than people could ever realise.
