I had a pressing tactic saved before the match went wrong, so when he kept scoring on the counter I didn’t have to guess: high line, stay compact, press the ball, keep it.

Rush a 1v1 and the keeper wins.

Stay calm at 1-1, make one sub and one tactic switch, wait for the gap, and you get the time to play the flair pass. Hemp: on at half-time, 2 shots, 2 goals.

My 4 favorite strikes from tournament week all have one thing in common: straight lines between players. 🎯

Coaches call it combination play. Every pass, run and cut-back travels along one straight passing lane to the next player, until the last line is the shot.

Lob it, dribble it or post it up, but see the lanes early and play them fast.

In FC 27, through passes go where YOU aim, so seeing the lanes is the skill.
