I am really excited to share some new experimental short work I shot end of year in London. Super excited that WIDE AWAKE won Best Music Video at the Independent Shorts Awards @independentshortsawards in Los Angeles.

And now we’re also Official Selection and In Competition at the 40th Leeds International Film Festival @leedsfilmfest , together with a really strong group of music videos.

I loved how Leeds described the film as “a love letter to nostalgic aesthetics.”

Also just nice to see that a simple 60-year-old Bolex, a few rolls of 16mm can still keep up with everything we can make today and still connect with people. Maybe even more now. by @romangitan

On a more personal non commercial note One of the things I find the most meditative is traveling and shooting film, especially if I get to see magical places where nature art and architecture come together I feel capturing them on film on my bolex feels just like therapy.

This is a little video from my last trip trying to capture some of the magic on celluloid. thank you again @meridiano.art and @terrestrehotel for having us.
