“We believe in the power of stylists to bring out the unique beauty in everyone.”

Last week I spent 2 days in @lorealacademy in NYC for the Texture Mastery Pro presented by The Texture of Change. Learning how textured hair is shaping beauty’s future & learning from different classes for from color, cuts, & even styles from runway on textured hair. It ignited so much excitement & also impactful conversations. Did you know that when I went to beauty school there was very little knowledge being taught on textured hair. Now NYC & NJ officially requires all state cosmetology and natural hair styling programs to incorporate comprehensive training and testing on curly, coily, kinky, and wavy hair! How amazing is this!

Looking forward to continuing my own education in this world. So to all my clients, family, & friends. Prepárense/prepare yourselves 😂 I love education & expanding my horizons. I love the industry that I work in and being able to work all different people from all walks of lives! Proud to be a hairdresser who wants to keep learning! by @rommyjo

Oooooo pop of color that can be low maintenance, fun, & grow out lovely! 🤩✨
Also client’s hair history:
mids to ends was dark red box color & 3 inches of regrowth. I’m glad we took our time to properly do it without putting the hair’s integrity through something harsh. Slow and steady & proper formulation made this so beautiful for this client 🥰 by @rommyjo
