At just 7 years old, my lil cousin Jayin is facing a battle no child should ever have to fight — the fight for his life while waiting for a kidney transplant. Through it all, Jayin has shown us nothing but bravery. His smile lights up every room, his laughter inspires strength, and his spirit reminds us daily what it means to keep hope alive. He has two loving siblings and a resilient mother who refuse to give up — and neither will we. But the journey is long, and they can’t do it alone. These are 100 percent real photos, with three hours of professional makeup, styling, lighting, and preparation before I stepped in front of my own camera and created my own professional photo shoot.Two completely different looks. Same day. Same vision. While shooting in SoHo, I wanted to experiment with different styles, lighting, angles, and moods. The first image was captured inside the car using my new lighting equipment, which has truly been a game changer and a great investment for any photographer looking to elevate their work. The second image was created with a more raw, grainy, cinematic feel. I wanted to embrace the shadows, darker tones, and a completely different energy.And yes, I did all of this myself.
