New single on the way!

My bestie music frans and I turned this #herbiehancock tune into the club hit JLo wishes the DJ would play.

You’re gonna dance. You’re gonna laugh. You’re gonna cry. Because of the state of the world. But mostly you’re gonna dance.

I’m releasing this one under Lee Barbour’s Polyverse, a modular organ trio that often adds a fourth to the mix…this time featuring @justinmstanton of #snarkypuppy on trumpet.

The core group is myself, @jlmusic53, and @ronwiltrout.

* Liner note trivia - Jon played bass and synth parts live…SIMULTANEOUSLY. It’s like having our very own AI in the band.

Enjoy on all platforms on April 4th and click the presave in my bio! 🕺🏼

Last night at @fortejazzlounge was epic. The band was on 🔥! The crowd was electric and all in! Thank you all for being there for our show.

I will be BACK at @fortejazzlounge on THIS FRIDAY AUGUST 15 with the @brettbelanger Trio featuring myself and @msterbank1 as we pay tribute to some of the great Jazz Trumpeters of all time. We will feature some Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Terence Blanchard, Wynton Marsalis, and others. Visit www.fortejazzlounge.com and secure your tickets!! Spread the word and we will see you there! taken in Forte Jazz Lounge by @ronwiltrout

That last bar and a half still needs work. But to try and play Vinnie is mostly an exercise in being humble, so I present here an imperfect (and significantly slower) rendition.
