Let’s talk about consent!

When is it first taught? When do we get our first lessons? Do we have a voice? When do we get in touch with our own voice? Do we have a voice before we learn our native tongue? What happens for those that don’t have a voice even as they grow and age? What about those taken for new lands? Who is listening to our voices anyway? Are we listening to each other? Can you hear me, do I hear you? 🌀

Communication.

So much paralyzing fear in the WAY I have been taught to communicate. So stay quiet. Stay small. Hold your breathe. Don’t take up space. 🤫

Boundaries matter! Your voice matters! Your sacred body matters! Don’t fucking touch me! Or anyone else either! 😡
