RE in the FT! Ten days before baby Holiday was born, we were photographed in Jan Gatewood’s incredible solo exhibition ‘Internal Empire’.

Thank you to Marine Saint and the FT team for including me in this feature on the next generation of female gallerists in London. Proud to continue the legacy of the brilliant women who have shaped the London art scene I know and love.

The gallery is open with extended hours all weekend on the occasion of London Gallery Weekend. On view are both Jan Gatewood’s ‘Internal Empire’ and Mirak Jamal’s ‘A Guest is a Blessing’, neither are to be missed!

The most perfect baby to have ever existed was born on Sunday 31 May during the Arsenal parade, also the blue full moon. Introducing Holiday Idris Newnham, our little Gemini fire horse gooner prince, we are completely besotted. Prepare for me to become intolerable, dance mom x 1000. Of course I’m already convinced he’s a genius and the most beautiful baby to walk this earth, looking forward to our deeply unhealthy and codependent relationship my sweet darling mama’s boy. Thank you to perfect daddy @liamnewnham you truly are the best I can’t believe we’re allowed to be someone’s parents 💗💋💓💖💘🌹 last 3 slides are Holiday’s first photoshoot aged 48 hours, we don’t yet have an agent but we’ll be fielding enquiries to the gallery email address 💁🏼‍♀️👼🏻🍼 by @roseeaston

Huge thanks to the judges: Eva Langret, Rejina Pyo, Devyani Saltzman, Kate Bryan and Marie McPartlin. Photography by Jack Elliot Edwards. by @roseeaston

Life is good, I’ve had a lot of coffee this morning and I feeling very lucky and grateful. Eva’s phenomenal solo exhibition ‘To be animal’ opened last night, come see it. Łukasz’s gorgeous show is open in our new space (same building), still can’t believe we have 2 spaces now!? What is life, wild. Gallery turns 4 end of October. Frieze is coming up, then Artissima - life is exciting ! Come say hi at any/all and let me burble excitedly at you about all the fabulous artists I have the pleasure of working with hehehehehe 💓🏹💫💋 Liam took this picture I love it so much what an excellent human and husband ✨💓🎀 by @roseeaston

SEPTEMBER - Worms Bookclub w @roseeaston 💕

This month we will be reading Carmen Maria Machado’s ‘In the Dream House’ - an engrossing and wildly innovative account of a relationship gone bad. Tracing the full arc of a harrowing experience with a charismatic but volatile woman, this is a bold dissection of the mechanisms and cultural representations of psychological abuse.

📍Rose Easton Gallery, 223 Cambridge Heath Rd, London E2 0EL

🦋 free to attend, all are very welcome!

Ps. Read @pierceeldridge’s piece with Carmen Maria Machado in issue 10 of Worms available at www.worm-s.com by @roseeaston
