Our highly anticipated Fall Edition launches October 26, 2026, and we'rewelcoming applications from businesses that want to connect with our community of millennial women.

If your audience is millennial women and you're passionate about supporting local, we'd love to feature your business! We're connecting businesses across Central Alberta, Metro Calgary, and the Edmonton area, and we still have some highly coveted categories available.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. I have the day off from my university work, but I’m still spending part of it on @rosemag_ca. I’m grateful my work leaves me room for reflection. This morning, I’m finishing our fall cover story with Melody, and at 12:30pm I’ll be tuning in to a live stream on reconciliation, wearing my orange shirt and orange nails from home.

Collaborating with women to tell their stories is a privilege, and today it feels especially so. Today, I know each of us at ROSE are finding ways to turn our attention to survivors and Indigenous leaders shaping what reconciliation looks like, and remembering the children who never came home from residential schools.

There's a reason we call it ROSE's Picks. 🌹

When we created the ROSE Magazine Business Directory, we wanted to build something different. Not a popularity contest. Not a directory based on who has the biggest marketing budget, the most followers, or had been in business the longest... We wanted a curated collection of women and businesses we can genuinely stand behind.

The women featured in our directory have applied to be considered, and we take that seriously. We look at their work, their story, their reputation, their values and the experience they provide. There is one featured business or professional per category, and we are incredibly proud to put our ROSE name behind every single one of them.

We created the directory because our readers kept asking us the same question: "Who do you recommend?"

From beauty and wellness to events, home, professional services and everything in between, these are services women are actively looking for. We want the directory to be a place where you can discover someone new and feel confident that they have been thoughtfully selected.

We are currently taking applications for our Fall Business Directory, and there are still several very coveted categories available!

We offer six month and annual options, with significant savings on the yearly listing. Payment plans are also available if you prefer to split the investment. Our annual listing works out to only $1.37 a day.
