POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It is truly such an honour to have my parents’ home featured in this edition of House & Home.

Designing their home was something I approached with a full heart. It meant creating a space that reflected the people they are, the life they have built, and the feeling of home they have always given me. To now see it within the pages of a magazine that was always present in their home while I was growing up feels incredibly special, and like a beautiful full-circle moment.

I am so grateful to @houseandhomemag for sharing this home and its story. The issue is now available on newsstands. You can also get your copy here: https://houseandhome.com/get-the-issue

What began with a single table has grown into a year of colour, food, memory, and gathering.

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the twelve chapters of The Tablescape Series will come together for one final celebration.

For one evening, the colours, flavours, materials, and ideas that shaped the series will return in new forms throughout the space.

Tickets will be released on Saturday, August 15.
More details coming soon. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @rosesonadelaide

I’ve been keeping a little part of The Tablescape Series project quiet.

Alongside each dinner, each table, and each colour, I have been working on something that would allow the entire year to live beyond the final evening.

The Tablescape Series: Stories of Colour.

A book documenting all twelve chapters of the series through photography, menus, design, collaborators, and the stories behind each table, including recipes from every dinner by my co-creator of the series, @kateglevitt .

What began as a series of dinners slowly became a record of an entire year: what inspired each colour, what we created around it, the people who brought it to life, and everything that happened in between.

These are a few of the photographs I created with the incredible @alexlukey for the cover and opening pages of the book, and it feels very special to finally share them.

The Tablescape Series: Stories of Colour will launch on October 3 as part of the final Tablescape Series celebration, bringing all twelve colours together for one last evening.

There is still one final table to go, which means the book will be heading to press on a fairly heroic timeline. But if this series has proven anything, it is that some of its best moments have come together under a slightly unreasonable time crunch. Copies will be available to purchase at the event, assuming the printing gods remain on our side.

Tickets for the October 3 celebration go live this Saturday, August 15.

We really hope you’ll be there to celebrate the final chapter with us. 🤍 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @rosesonadelaide

The final chapter of The Tablescape Series is now live. 🤍

A look back at the journey that brought us here, everything this little idea became along the way, and some pretty fun photos from the finale, in case you feel like reliving the night with us (we certainly do).

Just two girls celebrating a little dinner party idea that somehow became a book, a community, and so much more.

A little reminder this Thanksgiving Monday that love, accomplishment, and the things worth celebrating come in all shapes and sizes. And sometimes, the best thing you can do is throw a really big party for something you believed in. 🤍 by @rosesonadelaide

I have so much to say and so much more gratitude to express, but for now, I just want to say how overwhelmed I am by the support and love from everyone who made the finale possible. It was a beautiful, perfect, special night.

And that’s a wrap.

Twelve colours, twelve tables, countless meals, and one very special year of making things just because we wanted to.

So proud of what Robin and I created together. So grateful to everyone who sat at our tables, helped us along the way, followed along, and came out to celebrate the finale.

What a fucking year. taken in DesignAgency by @rosesonadelaide

Throughout The Tablescape Series, design has always extended far beyond the table.

Each month, Chef Kate Levitt translated the colour into food, considering not only flavour and season, but how each dish looked, moved, and belonged within the world of the evening. Colour became another ingredient, carrying the story from the table onto the plate.

Along the way, some beautiful desserts became part of that language too, from the incredible cakes by Cafe Pastel to the Iced Cake Boutique created for Crimson.

On October 3, some of the stars of the series return for one final evening. We can’t wait for you to taste them. by @rosesonadelaide

Twelve colours. Twelve tables. One year.

From Tomato to Pistachio, the full story of The Tablescape Series is now on the blog, looking back at each dinner through the table, the food, and the experience that shaped it.

What began with colour became something much larger along the way.

The final table: Pistachio Green. 🫛

The story of the last dinner in The Tablescape Series is now live on the blog, from the rain falling beyond the chiffon canopy to the food, wine, and memories that shaped the evening.

Pistachio may have been the final dinner, but it isn’t quite the end of the series.

On October 3, all twelve colours will come together one final time for The Tablescape Series: The Finale and the launch of The Tablescape Series: Stories of Colour.
