Some final photos of Rosey from the photoshoot in London last year. Which one is your favourite one? 🥰🙏
Some takeaways that makes me get your photograph every time:
1. I adapt the location so that it highlights you
2. I time the moment I press the shutter - this is Oxford Circus in rush hour, which you can’t tell. A few seconds later it would show though.
3. I LOVE to portray women with silent strength. Do you think it comes across here as well? by @roseyperkins

This ruby cluster is from Vietnam's Luc Yen region. Ive wondered what itll be...a pendant or ring...i had a great time learning about and experiencing the landscape and culture of the local region thanks to Vincent Pardieu and wonderful gemologists and jewellers. by @roseyperkins

This ruby cluster is from Vietnam. For nearly 10 years Ive looked at it and wondered if it would ever be used for jewellery. It occured to me recently, as I was experimenting, that it could be sort of sunk into metal and rise up like the cast mountains in the region it came from. Rubies are found in marble there, which looks so beautiful when polished, but I like this ruby as it is - unpolished, raw, just how it was when it waa unearthed..but on a ring.

Rosey ❤️ I met her and Joanne at a restaurant. Meaning I was at the table next to theirs, and interrupted them to ask if one of them could be my model. We ended up speaking for the entire duration of the lunch. And Rosey then gave me about an hour of her time.

Before this, I had checked locations around Piccadilly and Trafalgar, because I want this very high-end result.

So, this is one of the locations. It’s funny how London at 530 PM at Piccadilly can look so empty and serene. It’s about timing, choosing the right location and making damn sure about what background I use.

And look at that glow ❤️ She’s stunning, right? She was happy with the result, and as always - then I am happy.

It's the small scale, artisanal miners need our support, since their Government officials are serving themselves.

The Malagasy Government banned the export of coloured stones for over a year after the tumult of COVID lockdowns and closed boarders, while the East was pummelled by cyclones, and the South suffered famine, and the Sri Lankans were suffering thier own crisis.
