Sarkash سرکش Underground Launches on 1.8.2026 in Berlin: A New Festival Celebrating Exiled and Diaspora Rap, Trap and Experimental from Afghanistan, Balochistan, and Kashmir. In an era marked by severe political repression and cultural erasure from these regions, Sarkash سرکش Underground honours music as a vital language of protest, a place where our music can live, grow and reenvisioned.

Besides music there’ll be an art market and delicious homemade Afghan food on Saturday so bring cash 😌

Our organising initiatives @rosha_ev and @afghanpunkzine will have tables, alongside work by one of our talented artists @ariakhalil.official , whose new gorgeous album artwork was designed by @hornyhorsedsgn .

We’re also really grateful that Patastoo and @khatoon_resturant.20 are showing us some love by cooking for us. They’ll be serving homemade Afghan food, from bolani to kabob to sheer yakh (Afghan ice cream), whether you’re after a small snack or a full meal.

Make sure to check out @khatoon_resturant.20 restaurant (and their tiktok!!) in Wedding and their sheer yakh stand at Alexanderplatz because they are one of the best in this town! Thanks for feeding us and being part of this. by @rosha_ev

On Saturday we will open the doors to Sarkash Underground Festival, and before we do, we’d
love for everyone joining us to take a moment to read through our community guidelines.
They’re here to help everyone have the best possible experience & look out for one another.

If these guidelines don’t feel like something you can get behind, then this festival isn’t the place
for you.

Thank you for helping us protect the space we’re creating together 🖤
