Thank you!❤️ To every one who tuned in this year! After all these years, I never forget those who have been riding since day one, or the newcomers who are joining the journey!

After a very trying year, I’ve learned a lot about myself and what I need to do to be a better man, father and artist. I made mistakes this year I’m not proud of, but part of growth is owning it, learning from it, and not letting it define who you choose to be going forward. I trust that God will continue putting things into place.

Thank you for listening! More music is coming, I promise you! Until then, love you all and may you be blessed🙏🏾

This song is special for a number of reasons✨

I started the concept when I was in high school. I created the top line melody and wrote the words, but didn’t feel the song was where it needed to be at the time to share it with the world. I put it on the back burner and continued on with other projects. Years later, I brought it to BC, who added his secret sauce to the music and vocal production, said this was gonna change the world as we know it (he didn’t say exactly that, but he’ll probably clarify in the comments 😂)

What was consistent between us both was “this track is gonna be something special!”

What’s resulted is a song that really puts you in the mood the melody dictates. Takes you to another world if I can describe it best. To thibk that this song started when I was 16/17 years seasoned, and can come out now and sounds like we made it yesterday is poetic. That’s what’s beautiful about music, the fact that no matter what time the art is created, it can grab you and take you to any moment in the past or present. Not tryna toot my own horn and claim we make timeless music, but I do feel weve been able to multiple this feeling time and time again🙏🏾🎶

Listen to RUNNING now on all platforms! Hit that link for the vibes👏🏾 and thank you to all who listen time and time again🙏🏾

I remember listening to the track and knowing exactly how I wanted to approach it. I wrote a proposal and sent it over - and I remember Rosh saying “this is exactly what I had in mind”.

That’s one of the things I love about working with @roshgrove - his music is so emotive. You can tell he puts his soul into his work. And being able to translate those emotions into visuals was such a cool experience.

Also cool fact - one of my first gigs was working with @roshgrove and seeing how we’ve both come up from that shoot is crazy!

Also shout out to @timelesstreestudios for having one of the coolest studio set ups I’ve seen. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @roshgrove
