It’s taken me a while to figure out what to write. To love something so much and then have it taken away the way it was is hard. I was upset and angry and maybe I still am.But, that doesn’t change why I do what I do and why I worked so hard for over two years. •I never did it for the company, I did it for the people I met along the way. The safe spaces I created and for these little moments of joy spent with some absolute legends!•This is not how I imagined my journey at Soul ending. It was not my fault or my choice, but damn we had a mad ride though right!•One door closes and others open. I’ll be back on the bike soon, have no doubt about it!•In the meantime, to everyone that spent time with me in those dark rooms on bikes that go nowhere, I’ll cherish those moments forever! •Until next time, keep slow pressing, tapping back and fighting fascists! A few years ago a stumbled across something I loved immediately. Indoor cycling.•A while later, a friend of mine told me about a studio holding auditions. I booked into a class, sat right in front of the hiring instructor to make sure I was seen. A week later I auditioned and after some training a was finally an indoor cycling instructor.•A year later. I found out SoulCycle, some of the best of the best, were holding auditions. I booked a class in view of the hiring instructor. Said hello at the end of the class and submitted my application. A week later I was at the audition. The maddest audition experience of my life.Two weeks later I was accepted onto the 8 week training program. The most intense 8 weeks of my life managing training, work and a life.•Two years later. Here I am.
