I've always respected how Andre Ward carried himself inside and outside the ring.

I haven't used social media much in 2021, so apologies to those who've been waiting on a response to a question or message. I'm still grinding though and will try to pop in a bit more in 2022. In the meantime, Happy Holidays to all.

This was moments before we walked out for Katie’s pro debut in 2016.

At the time, we had no idea where the next ten years would take us. We were just focused on that night and the work in front of us.

And then somehow, you blink and it’s over.

That’s something I hope young fighters understand. Wherever you are in your career right now, it won’t last forever. The years that seem endless while you’re living them will eventually feel like they passed in an instant.

So give it everything you have. Train hard. Make the sacrifices. Chase whatever it is you’re chasing.

But try to enjoy it too.

That part isn’t always easy when you’re deep in the grind. There’s always another fight, another camp, another problem to solve. You’re so focused on what’s next that you don’t always appreciate where you are.

Someday, you’ll wish you could have one of those days back.

It goes fast. Make it count.

Throwback to warming up before fighting for our first minor title. It was our 5th fight, on the historic Joshua vs. Klitschko undercard at Wembley Stadium.

We went from fighting in nearly empty stadiums in broad daylight to filling a stadium of our own.

No one could have imagined it back then.

Ignore the critics. Ignore the doubters. Keep showing up and putting in the work.

You never know where it might take you. 🥊

We’ve been incredibly fortunate over the years to have so many great sparring partners come through camp. Many of them also doubled as training partners, putting in long days alongside us and playing an important role in the preparation.

I’ve kept hundreds of pages of training notes over the last decade, so I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone.
