🥊🇮🇪 ONCE UPON A TIME… WE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF FUELLING A CHAMPION 🇮🇪🥊

What an absolute honour it has been to be trusted by Katie Taylor and her incredible team to fuel her throughout her training camp at the idyllic surroundings of the exclusive Parsonstown Estate, ahead of her final ever fight.

It was so special for our family and the entire CTR team to be part of such an important and historic chapter. For Jenny, this opportunity has meant more than we could ever put into words. To be trusted to play even a small part in preparing one of Ireland’s greatest-ever sporting icons has been an absolute privilege.

A huge thank you to Katie and her team for trusting Jenny and CTR, welcoming us in and allowing us to be part of such a special journey.

Such an incredible event at the weekend but I want to highlight Katie’s mindset here and how she reframes her self-talk and thought processes when working towards big moments like this.

Instead of fearing the nerves, embrace them. When you get an opportunity to showcase all that you’ve worked towards, go after it. Yes you’ll feel nerves, overwhelm, performance anxiety, but see it as a privilege and nerves can be reframed as excitement too.

It wasn’t just any fight, it was a farewell, led by Katie’s unwavering faith which was the cornerstone of her boxing career from the amateur days right up to her grand finale on Saturday night. 🙏🏻

It was the perfect, fairytale ending to one of the greatest sports stories ever told. Watching 83,000 fans fill Croke Park with a mix of pure joy and tears showed exactly how much Katie meant to Ireland and the entire sporting world. 🫶🏻

Retiring on her own terms, in front of a home crowd that size, and as a three-time undisputed World Champion is a level of greatness very few athletes in any sport will ever touch. She completely transformed women’s boxing from an Olympic afterthought into a stadium-filling global spectacle. 🇮🇪

Thank you Katie, for your kindness and your time. However brief the moments were, they created beautiful memories that I will cherish forever. 🥊☘️
