I was always an active person although I never thought of myself as a long distance endurance athlete.

Actually I never liked cycling until I started training for the Ironman and got to feel the sense of freedom and joy it gave me.

I had never done bikepacking even for a night before I decided to do this trip.

It’s just a proof that once you start and make that first step you eventually unlock something… And from there your mind begins opening up, your mindset becomes stronger and suddenly you start wondering “what else am I capable of”.

That's a wrap on Run Swim Run Barcelona! 🏖️

Huge thanks to everyone who showed up at Bogatell Beach, ran, swam, and got soaked with us. Congrats to our podium finishers, and to the winners of the sunrise experience with Molokai!

We are as rich as we are grateful for what we have.

Lesson I got to learn not long ago.

And how grateful I am that life keeps giving me beautiful experiences, beautiful people, courage and the opportunity to be the person I want to be.

It’s all so real, so wholesome that sometimes I feel like I’m living in my own utopia. But that’s how it should be.

I’m not a person who ever gets satisfied, there is still so much I want to create for myself. But these past 6 months have thought me that I can be fulfilled without being satisfied.

One of the biggest heartbreaks of leaving the UK after 8 years of building my life there was leaving behind the community I’d built over that time.

My friends, my colleagues, my training partners… they all became family to me in a foreign country.

People I could count on, people I could turn to for help or advice.

But I’m so happy that Barcelona welcomed me with open arms from day one, and now I can truly say I’m building my community here too.

This weekend was everything… being surrounded by people who spread nothing but love and good energy. I’m so lucky 🍀❤️🫶 taken in Girona, Spain by @rosvis_

All these emotions you feel on a life-changing adventure can be confusing. Sometimes they hurt, and sometimes they make you feel ecstatic.

In the moment, it doesn’t always feel right. It doesn’t feel like this is how an amazing adventure is supposed to feel.

But once you get through it, you realise that was the whole point.

I bikepacked from Birmingham to Barcelona to start my life in Spain.

The only constant in life is change.

I had so many doubts throughout these past 12 months. I questioned my decisions, wondered whether I was on the right path, and had moments when I didn’t know what would happen next.

But ultimately, when you have a dream that is strong enough, and you believe in your ability to make it happen, things can come together in the most unexpected ways.

You just need to believe and take action, no matter how small the step.
