DISTRICT VISIT TO ROTARACT CLUB OF OTA

On Sunday, 11th October, the District Rotaract Representative (DRR), alongside his entourage, paid an official visit to the Rotaract Club of Ota to assess the club’s progress, engage with members, and discuss strategic ways to strengthen the club and enhance its overall performance.

The visit featured a Board Meeting, Club Fellowship, and the Induction of Two New Members into the Rotaract family.

It was an opportunity to connect, share ideas, identify areas for improvement, and encourage members to remain committed to service and the club’s growth.

The induction of two new members was a special highlight, marking another step towards expanding the club’s reach and creating more opportunities for service and fellowship.

Together we continue to serve and create lasting impact

Some Thursdays deserve a replay. This is one of them. ✨

Back on September 30th, 11 Rotaract clubs under the Rotaract District 9111 showed up at the Rotary Centre, Ikeja with one goal: put literacy first.
17 schools, 100 students, a stack of educational materials and an interactive panel session later, we’d say it worked.

Small classroom, big ripple. That’s the whole plan.

Peace isn’t just signed at conference tables, it’s built daily, in classrooms, neighbourhoods, and small everyday choices.

This year’s theme, “Invest in Peace — For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” honours the everyday architects of peace: people doing the quiet work of building safety, dignity, and cooperation where they are.

What’s one thing you can do for peace today? Start small. Start local. Start now.

Every 40 seconds, the world loses someone to suicide. Most of these deaths are preventable — and it often starts with something as small as a conversation.

Today, on World Suicide Prevention Day, we’re choosing to talk, to listen, and to check in on the people around us. You don’t need the right words. You just need to show up.

If you’re struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a crisis line near you. You matter, and help is available.

You came for the service… but stayed because you found your people. 🫂❤️

Rotaract is where strangers become friends, friends become family, and somehow every fellowship ends with “one more picture.” 😂📸

Your tribe might just be one swipe away.

Plot twist: You didn’t know you had that leader in you. 👀🎤

Rotaract gives you room to speak up, step up, take responsibility and discover what you’re capable of.

Leadership isn’t just a title. Sometimes, it starts with simply saying, “I’ll do it.” 🚀

Imagine joining a club and leaving with skills, connections, experiences AND stories. 😌

From workshops and projects to networking and real-life leadership opportunities, Rotaract gives you more than meetings.

Come for the experience. Stay for the growth. 📈✨

And then it clicked…

“Wait… we can actually change things.” 🌍❤️

Every project, every volunteer hour, every person we reach — it all adds up.

You don’t have to change the whole world overnight. Start with your community. Start with one person. Start with us.

So… what are you waiting for? 👀
