The annual experimental art festival returns to Goat Farm’s 12-acre West Midtown campus Saturday, Oct. 3, for six hours of installations, live performances and music. Then, much of the work disappears. Music will move throughout the campus, with different spaces offering different vibes, from the intimate Warhorse to the larger, more theatrical Main Stage.

Welcome to Rough Cut, in which our dining team (Beth McKibben and Sarra Sedghi) offer their first impressions on the food, vibe, and service at restaurants around Atlanta.

🍗Sarra and her husband recently checked out Ford’s BBQ’s Oakhurst location. They ordered a smoked beet Cubano ($14) with a side of Brunswick stew ($5),and sweet heat smoked wings ($12).

💡Pro tip: Ford’s BBQ experiments with ingredients and flavors, and this is especially true with their vegetarian selection. There’s nothing wrong with the classics, but you may just find your new favorite barbecue dish by experimenting.
