This wasn’t just a ground opening.
It was a green light for history. 💚

Thank you to the Oyo State Ministry of Culture & Tourism and the Honourable Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun for approving and standing with a vision that rewrites Africa’s fashion narrative.

The streets are now officially a stage. Africa’s First Roundabout Runway .

I am not giving up until this vision reaches the right audience and gets the global recognition I believe it deserves. 🤍🌍
My name is Akinwole Esther Omojewe, a Fashion Producer based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and the mind behind the idea and production of Roundabout Runway.
This is more than just a fashion project to me. It’s a dream, a vision, and something I’m passionate about building.
Roundabout Runway started with an idea that might have seemed unusual to some, but I believed fashion could exist beyond the traditional spaces we were used to. I wanted to create something different, something that would put Ibadan on the map and show the world that creativity has no boundaries.
And here I am, still speaking about it, still building it, still showing up, and still believing.Sometimes, I wish I could fast-forward to the moment when the right people discover this vision, when people across the world begin to understand what I’m building, and when the name Roundabout Runway becomes known beyond the streets of Ibadan.
I can’t wait for that moment. 🥹❤️ But until then, I will keep doing my part. I will keep sharing the vision, telling the story, creating, and putting my work out there.
I’m learning that I cannot be afraid to talk about what I want to build. I cannot be shy about my dreams or wait for someone else to validate them before I take them seriously.
I want global recognition, and I’m not ashamed to say it. I want the right brands, partners, creatives, media platforms, and opportunities to find this vision. I want the world to see what can come out of Ibadan, Nigeria.
And by God’s grace, I believe the story is only beginning. 🙏🏽✨
