My name is Akinwole Esther Omojewe, a Fashion Producer based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and the mind behind the idea and production of Roundabout Runway.
This is more than just a fashion project to me. It’s a dream, a vision, and something I’m passionate about building.
Roundabout Runway started with an idea that might have seemed unusual to some, but I believed fashion could exist beyond the traditional spaces we were used to. I wanted to create something different, something that would put Ibadan on the map and show the world that creativity has no boundaries.
And here I am, still speaking about it, still building it, still showing up, and still believing.Sometimes, I wish I could fast-forward to the moment when the right people discover this vision, when people across the world begin to understand what I’m building, and when the name Roundabout Runway becomes known beyond the streets of Ibadan.
I can’t wait for that moment. 🥹❤️ But until then, I will keep doing my part. I will keep sharing the vision, telling the story, creating, and putting my work out there.
I’m learning that I cannot be afraid to talk about what I want to build. I cannot be shy about my dreams or wait for someone else to validate them before I take them seriously.
I want global recognition, and I’m not ashamed to say it. I want the right brands, partners, creatives, media platforms, and opportunities to find this vision. I want the world to see what can come out of Ibadan, Nigeria.
And by God’s grace, I believe the story is only beginning. 🙏🏽✨

Being a producer is not just about making sure everything gets done. It’s about building with people, creating an environment where everyone can bring their best, and watching an idea that once lived in your head become something real.

And honestly, one of my favourite parts is being on set with my team, creating, laughing, solving problems and seeing everything come together.

People see the runway. They see the lights, the models, the beautiful pictures and the final production.

They don’t see everything that happens before it.

The calls that don’t get answered.
The plans that change.
The people who disappoint you.
The money you’re trying to figure out.
The pressure of making every detail work.
The days you question whether you can actually pull it off.

And sometimes, you’re tired too.

You show up sad.
You show up confused.
You show up unmotivated.
You show up when your strength is almost gone.

Because being a Producer means the vision still needs you, even on the days you don’t feel like yourself.

You don’t always have the luxury of stopping.

So you breathe.
You adjust.
You solve the next problem.
And you keep moving.

Until the work is done. ✅

This is the reality of building something from the ground up.

I’m not just producing a fashion show. I’m building a vision. And I’m still showing up. 🖤
