🎈 MEET THE CAST 🎈

We couldn’t be luckier to have stage & screen legends joining some of the best young actors in Sydney tread the balloon filled stage at @kxt_bakehouse this October!

A razor-sharp 21st century remix: part savage comedy, part gut-punch tragedy. What begins as a biting farce spirals into an unnerving satire of power, lust, and faith in a world desperate for certainty. Prepare for laughter that curdles into horror as this tour-de-force cast rip apart a classic - and expose how easily charm becomes control.

Book your tix at the link in our bio 🎟️

NOT A.I. One of my favourite things about working in Independent Theatre is the chance to make UTTERLY UNHINGED purchases such as this one. What you see are 176 packets of 25 balloons that will be used in lieu of Set, Props, and common decency in @raus_aus production of Tartuffe @kxt_bakehouse - OCT 2 - 17. Early bird tix are open. Soon the cast will be announced and to say I am excited is a slanderous understatement. https://www.kingsxtheatre.com/tartuffe PS:yes I am aware that is not the cover of Tartuffe. No I will not be correcting this. taken in KXT bAKEHOUSE by @rouse_phil

Cat's out of the bag. In 2026, in Sydney, at KXT bAKEHOUSE, I am getting back in the saddle after quite some time away.

I'm directing/adapting Tartuffe by Moliere. I'm very excited to be working with some of the best in @martellehuntress, @annagardinerdesign, @theworstexample and @oliviaxegas.

More details to come. Check it out here: https://www.kingsxtheatre.com/tartuffe

See you in the theatre. xxx taken in KXT bAKEHOUSE by @rouse_phil

HI Friends, so it's the last week of Bar'd Works run of Twelfth Night. It's been an absolute gem of a show to work on. If you haven't had the chance to come along we are on at the Annandale Thursday and Friday, Willie the Boatman in St. Peters on Saturday, and if you're living Northside - The Oaks in Neutral bay on Sunday. If you're strapped for cash let me know and I'll see what I can do. But it's been a hoot and a great night out.
