The next edition of our event series is just around the corner! This time, we’re joining forces with The Engine Room to take a closer look at >The Work Behind the Creative<. We often see the finished campaign, the final collection or the big creative idea. But what about the people who make it all happen? The producers, studio managers, strategists and many others whose work is essential, even if it doesn’t always get the spotlight. For this conversation, we’re bringing together four professionals with different experiences and perspectives to unpack what these roles actually look like, how they found their way into them, and what it takes to build a career behind the scenes. Here’s who’s joining us: ⚙️ Brogan Wright — Brand Creative Studio Manager at @nike & Founder of The Engine Room ⚙️ Cecilia Russolo — Freelance Producer, with experience at leading creative agencies including @wiedenkennedy and @72andsunny_ ⚙️ Sean Sambo — Producer at @nike and freelance photographer ⚙️ Caroline Dillen — Freelance Creative Studio Manager, with experience working with brand such as @adidas , @newbalance and @scotch_soda Expect an open conversation about career paths, skills, opportunities and the parts of the creative industries you might not know much about yet. And, of course, there’ll be plenty of room for your questions. Whether you have a clear idea of where you want to go or are still figuring out what’s out there, this one’s for you. 👀 📍 Generously hosted in the beautiful community space of @joinrivvia — thank you for having us! 🤝🫶 🎟️ Tickets are €5 and include a welcome drink. Spaces are limited, so be quick and grab yours via the link in bio! Can’t afford a ticket right now? We’ve reserved three free spots — email info@routesin.com to claim one. 💙 by @routes_in

Creative careers take many different forms, and there’s no single route in. Skills, experience, guidance and the right connections can all play a part in finding your way. At Routes In, we believe everyone deserves the chance to explore what’s possible — which is why we’re here to provide the resources, conversations and connections to help make that happen. 💬 What's a piece of career advice you've heard that turned out to be more rumour than reality? by @routes_in

Think mentorship is only about getting advice? ☝️ More often, it's where you build confidence, find your voice, and develop the kinds of skills that stay with you long after the programme ends. ✨ These are some of the skills scholars from The Social Hub Changemakers Mentorship Programme said they developed through mentorship. 💬 Which one do you think is the most underrated? by @routes_in

RUMOUR vs. REALITY 💭 There are a lottt of ideas floating around about what mentorship is supposed to look like. We're here to tell you: so many of them aren't true. 😄 After hundreds of mentor–mentee relationships, we've found that the best matches aren't built on perfection - they're built on vulnerability, curiosity, honesty, and people willing to grow together.
