Last year, I had the absolute pleasure of designing and building the Body Designz House Clinic in Newstead. The space is stunning, with every corner of the reception area elegantly curved to create a unique flow. The flooring features an off-white epoxy paint layered with gold flakes, seamlessly blending into the custom copper-painted skirting. taken in Newstead by @rouwooo

🎶 Step into the underground world of @bunkerclub.bne – Fortitude Valley’s newest hotspot for UK garage, house, and techno beats! 🚀 Immerse yourself in the rustic charm of our underground fallout shelter, where red highlighted lighting crackles against the walls adorned with vintage electrical wires. Our design is a fusion of industrial grit and underground chic, with liquid iron paint and vinegar creating striking rust features. Come experience the electrifying ambiance and pulsating rhythms at Bunker – where the party never stops! 🎉 #Bunker #UndergroundVibes #FortitudeValley #Nightlife

Big thank you to @jay.kay.87 & @patrickdonohue_aus for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to work on this project taken in Fortitude Valley by @rouwooo

Let’s talk about materials

- Particle board, also known as chipboard, is a type of engineered wood product made from wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even sawdust, bonded together with a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, and pressed into sheets. Here are some key aspects of particle board:

• Cabinetry: Often used in kitchen cabinets and shelving.
• Flooring: Used as underlayment for flooring materials.
• Interior Finishes: Used in wall panels and interior partitions.

- Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product made from wood fibers combined with wax and resin binders and formed into panels under high temperature and pressure. Here are the main aspects of MDF:

Uses

• Furniture: Used for high-quality furniture due to its smooth finish and strength.
• Cabinetry: Common in kitchen cabinets, shelves, and other built-ins.
• Molding and Trim: Used for decorative moldings and trim work.
• Doors: Frequently used in the construction of interior doors.
• Flooring: Occasionally used as underlayment for flooring materials.

- Plywood is a type of engineered wood product made from thin layers or “plies” of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another. Here are the key aspects of plywood:

Uses

• Construction: Used for walls, floors, roofs, and structural components.
• Furniture: Common in furniture making due to its strength and workability.
• Cabinetry: Used in kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
• Packaging: Used in crates, pallets, and other packaging materials.
