Took Aaron to London for some treats. Bit of risqué planning as he had his cast off at the Bristol Children’s Hospital and then was feeling very fragile and we jumped on a train to London. All went well though - My Neighbour Totoro was amazing ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ‘Believe the Hype’ lol 😂 then museums and swishy swanky sushi 🍣.

Loved dinner! Aaron enjoyed the super service - every time he dropped a chopstick a new one would swiftly appear, they even re-folded our napkins mid-meal. Also check out the edible blossom tree 🌸

We’ve had a wonderful holiday in our usual adventurous fashion. This time we’ve explored Rodos-Symi-Kos-Bodrum and now we are back in the cabin in İznik 🇹🇷. The best time of year to be in South Med. The weather is perfect, it’s quiet and spacious everywhere. Too many wonderful pictures to share so I’ll do it by adventure location. These ones are from our days in Rodos 🇬🇷 by @rowanfae

Catching up on posts… we had Cihans sister @patikaseramik and our niece @elvandenizci_ come and stay with us a few weeks ago. Lovely to have some family over to visit from Turkey. We treated them to a bit of Cornwall, and met with friends staying in mousehole. A wonderfully glorious beach day was had at Porthcurno beach. Then I sent the family to check out @nofit_state_circus while I concluded my mini break peacefully with a day in the most amazing @scarlethotel spa - a special treat that was bestowed upon me for my 40th (last September) that I’ve only just got around to cashing in.

Love Cornwall, beautiful lands, gorse in all colours and rugged coast line. Love that bloody coast path. It’s become a life ambition to walk the lot of it… Southwest path and Pembrokeshire one too… so many adventures to be had in life x

After 22 months, today was my very last day at Radstock Town Council in my role as Cultural Program Coordinator. It’s been a brilliant journey and opportunity to activate creativity and community in Radstock (almost my home turf).

What a lovely experience working with this micro team of public servants caring for the town and its residents, and adding a touch of sparkle along the way.

So many projects within projects but some of my favourites were;

Tales of Writhlington - a gorgeous intergenerational oral histories study, music project and coffee table art book with materials featured in a 6 month exhibition at the Radstock Museum.

Radstock Winter Lantern Parade- A joyful celebratory parade through the town centre with a spectacular circus theatre finale. The lantern parade happened twice over the duration of the program. Occurring on astrological Imbolk 2024 & 2025.

Branding Project -
Had a jolly time rebranding the town and everything Radstock with Overt Design.

The Greenway Arts Trail
Lovely arts trail and launch combining nature sculpture, poetry, murals, with wellness and event programming.

Now for a couple of months of free summer fun before off on the next rural adventures with Valley Arts. 🎭
