Aerial harness, vertical dance, wall running, crane flying…. Being in the air brings me so much joy 💓

So I’ve been into the archives again and realising… I’ve been flying in a harness for 17 years! 😮✨It’s hard to capture it all into a one-minute reel, but here’s a little montage from the vaults.

It all started back in 2008 with @invisible.circus at the iconic Carny Ville walking down walls and gliding across the crowd at @theislandbristol

Since then, it’s there’s be various gigs over the years.

✨Experimenting with cranes in the early days of @arcadia, which grew into The Spider Landing show at @glastonburyfestival which went into a World Tour, and other shows such as Metamorphosis, Genesis, Prism
✨@incandescence_circus crane hanger show
✨Swinging from balconies in Old Town with @boomtownfairofficial
✨Performing at Boomtown opening ceremonies
✨The emotional final show “Welcome to the Future” at @unit15creationspace with @invisible.circus
✨Pro workshops with legends like @gravitylevity and @fulltiltaerial

Massive shoutout to all the other performers, producers, crew and of course the riggers who made safe and possible, site-specific aerial rigging is an art in itself. 🎪❤️

I’m available for harness gigs and collaborations

I'm really happy to be screening Cara Mamma in Bristol and i would love to see some of my circus friends there. The film focuses on the wonderful Scarabeus circus family who many of you know. In this intimate documentary, a mother and her transgender son exchange a series of letters throughout his transition. It's been a labour of love with an amazing team. It's screening at 5pm on 7th July at Watershed as part of Queer Vision Film Festival (Bristol Pride) . Link in bio for more info.

May the brining of the light this year bring much needed peace to Palestine and throught the world and those suffering in the Democratic Republic of Congo ironically for the raw materials that we all use in the phones that you are on now. My heart goes out to all and pray that spring brings peace and healing 🕊 🌍

My circus family
🎪❤️🎪💜🎪❤️🎪💜🎪

A behind the scenes glimpse of what 5 days devising and rehearsing and 4 days performing looks like whilst being among 100+ creative passionate contributing artists, 400 beautiful caring friends/family in the audience each night and parenting (extra challenge on school nights🫠😅) #takesacircustoraiseachild

Thank you everyone for bringing and making the magic happen, it’s been incredibly special. I felt all the feelings and am still glowing!

This is also a reminder that the @invisible.circus is losing our @unit15creationspace home to development/gentrification and still need a new home to keep on making circus magic ….. @bristolcouncil, @aceagrams, landlords of big buildings, philanthropists and anyone else that can please step up and help us out!
