Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

This hat was very special for me to make because I got to celebrate my queerness through knitting. 🌈

The yarn and pattern are from @cleosyarnshop and I used a garter stitch for the hat. There’s mostly cotton yarn in the hat but also some acrylic.

Shoutout to my friend @christinacardonaa for modeling the hat for me on our trip to the Catskills. ⛰️ taken in Catskill Mountains by @rowknitz

Row knits but now Row also weaves!

I took the Intro to Weaving class at @cleosyarnshop and it did not disappoint!

Cleo is such an excellent teacher. I had so much fun with the other students as well. I even got to take a loom home for a week to finish the scarf.🧣

Also Rory the yarn dog is featured because he supervised. 🐕

I knit my top and crocheted my little flag for 🌈 Pride 🏳️‍🌈

The top is a modified pattern by Sustainable Knitting for Beginners. It’s of the lesbian flag. I knit it to wear at the Dyke March 🧡🤍💗

The rainbow flag was the first thing I ever crocheted and I made it freehand taken in New York City Dyke March by @rowknitz

✨Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

This little Pride flag is the first piece I’ve ever crocheted! 🧶 I sanded down a chopstick for the flag pole.

I hung the flag during the queer softball team’s game on Saturday and my teammate called her our mascot 🫶🏻⛳️ taken in Randall's Island Park by @rowknitz

🧡 Happy Lesbian Visibility Week 💗

Last week, one of my classmates asked me if I knew it was lesbian visibility week this week. I said, “no, but now I have to finish my top.”

I knit this with with @blueskyfibers and Sami yarn from @cleosyarnshop 🧶 Also, it’s 100% sport weight cotton so I can wear it in the summer 🌞

I knit my winter hat with @manosdeluruguayyarns Franca. This beautiful yarn was gifted to me by a friend a year ago. 🫶🏻 It’s extremely warm and perfect for winter.
