Introducing the comedy duo you’ve all been waiting for! Chefs Taylor and Tamzin may have raced a number of times plastic free, but “Dehydrating for Dummies” is still an essential tool for their race prep.

To see more about what prep goes into racing plastic free, and get more giggles out of these two’s Harold & Kumar act, you can contribute to our Go Fund Me, which is still live! We need your help so that Roxy can work through the three hour long interview Tamzin and Taylor kindly provided at the end of the race 😂

Wow wow wow! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has contributed to our Go Fund Me so far! We managed to raise over £1,100 in just 48 hours, which is absolutely incredible and all thanks to you!

This means Roxy can get started on editing sooner than expected, which is a dream come true coming off the back of such an amazing trip filming during the race.

We’re currently at 10% with 90% to go - every share & contribution still counts 🙏🏽 since the editing process takes a while, we’ll be keeping the crowdfund going until we meet our target ❤️

We really appreciate your belief in the film and this project - from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Breaking News: We’ve launched a Go Fund Me!!

After talking pretty openly about how this film has been entirely self funded up til now, we’ve had some thoughtful conversations about the film & how we want to move forward.

To get over the creative finish line, and create an epic film that takes you on the journey Taylor has been on, and her motivations and drive to participate in ultras in a revolutionary way, we need your help.

We’ve chosen to crowdfund because we know that the cycling community connects with this cause, and feel that together, we can make a powerful statement about the impact we want to have.

This fundraiser will go towards covering music licences, film festival entry fees, Roxy’s rent and bills while they’re deep in the edit, a sound person, colourist, and graphics, to enable the film to be as magnificent as the story.

The summer is drawing to a close, and we really packed it all in! What started as a small idea ~18 months ago had grown into an amazing community of women, trans and non-binary folk stoked on riding bikes, building skills, and coming together in the outdoors. And that all culminated in a magical weekend at our End of Season Camp Out, beautifully captured here by @roxannagbaz 🫶

A massive thanks to everyone who brought their energy, laughter and support to the Afan Forest last weekend 🌲 We rode, tie-dyed, saunaed, dipped, ate homecooked food and connected over campfires under starry skies ✨ Tell us your favourite memory from the trip!

ROX PRINT SHOP is open!

A few years ago I dreamt of seeing my photographs as art, as prints, on people’s walls. I didn’t know how to make that happen and I didn’t have a plan. But through a year of working on analog printing skills, I‘ve found my way to it in a way I completely did not expect. It’s scary, but wanting something always is.

Thank you for all of your excitement and words of encouragement, and sorry for making some of you wait so long 😉

The shop is now open! I’ve got a curated selection of 9 prints, some of my favourite colour, black&white, and double exposures from my last year of analog exploits.

Take a gander, place an order, buy one for your cousin for Christmas (because apparently it’s October now, so that’s a legit thing to say), support a local stressed out anxious artist this Autumn.

xoxo

PS Thank you to everyone who entered the giveaway, the winners have been announced on my stories & the prints are being prepped to be sent!

Photographed at a local bakery in Sharrow, Sheffield. An ode to the best bread-maker I know, to the smell of a freshly baked loaf, to loving friendship and to kindness. This print will be available in my print shop from October 1st!

This quadruple exposure is a combination of double exposure in the darkroom and in-camera double exposure, photographed in the forests of Glen Coe Lochan in Scotland. This one is for those trying to nurture their creativity even on their worst days. Sometimes, something beautiful may come of it. This is a one-of-a-kind print (I won’t be printing more like this - the regular double exposure will be available in the shop October 1st!)

As seen at SEESAW’s @negative.dev community exhibition! This double exposure was taken at dawn in Portugal, in a beautiful tiny town tucked into a valley below its highest peak. An early start, the ticklings of creativity already at full flow. This is currently only one of two prints I m by @roxannagbaz

Some of my faves from this years incredible @wanderersofcolour festival, at the beeeeautiful climbing social led by @mollyts123 & @peetermanss 🔥

Photographing this years festival was such a beautiful creative experience, with a full on media team and spaciousness to let creativity breathe. Even got a few swims in! A wonderful way to work with wonderful people 🫶🏽🤙🏽

A small selection of film photos that I’ve printed over the course of my DYCP explorations are being exhibited with the wonderful community show by @negative.dev. I’ve been learning colour dev and printing with them, and am really pleased to have a few colour prints alongside my increasing stack of B&W work.

Some of these prints haven’t seen the online world yet, so come on down for opening night for a lil treat 😉 (if you can’t make it, it’ll be open for about a month and you can pop in)
