14th Annual Farhang Foundation Fundraising Gala — November 1, 2025
An extraordinary evening celebrating Iranian art, culture, and community. It is with immense joy and pride to be connected to @farhangfoundation. Thank you for all you do for the community-at-large.

Side notes:
A little accidental high-end TV-drama promo energy with my mom in the last photo. 🙃 Grateful she could join me.❤️🙏🏼

I tried out a new braided updo — it’s always fun to get dressed up! ✨ by @roxiestories

Scorpios has its own vibe. ✨ Good music & the sea 😍 🌊

I’ve decided that this post trip jet lag feels like being a slightly smashed jelly bean or play dough.😂 (For some reason, Bali travel last year didn’t hit as hard!)Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺, lit. ‘Temple of the Golden Pavilion’), and Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion) with my dad. 💛🇯🇵 🙏🏼 Golden Pavilion is a Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. ✨

A special afternoon with Leah Glimcher, director of @pacegallery. Thank you for the enthralling tour of “David Lynch: LA”! Sharing my two favorite walls. 💋✨💨

“David Lynch: LA” highlights Lynch’s photo-based works in the first presentation of his work in his home city since his passing in 2025, exploring the myth and mystery of Los Angeles and its emotional landscape.

A little personal connection: David Lynch was a passionate advocate for Transcendental Meditation, which he considered an essential part of his creative life. I learned TM over a decade ago at the David Lynch Foundation in Los Angeles. ♥️

On the way to 2026 ICAA @icaa.socal Legacy Awards honoring Joan Behnke. ✨ It is always fun to celebrate design industry leaders and to dress up!
Thank you @harrisondesigncalifornia for the gracious invitation. ♥️ by @roxiestories

Travel and exploration are good for the soul. ❤️ Sharing part two of our long weekend this summer in El Salvador: my first time driving an ATV to Tamanique waterfall for a refreshing dip, my first time ziplining, artisan coffee shops ☕️ featuring beans grown in volcanic soil 🌋😍, a visit to El Boquerón, and a farm-to-table experience. 🚜

Last photos: a stop at Starbucks Casa Bou, housed in the restored Antonio Bou Building, a San Salvador architectural landmark built between 1923 and 1927. (More of a specialty coffee lover, but always a fan of culture and design.) ✨ Thanks to Penny for this find.

A wonderful, adventurous short trip with friends. We really packed it in!

Now, hello to fall. It finally feels like it today. 🍂 by @roxiestories

Art Walk @wehodesigndistrict ✨
Kicking things off with a special private event celebrating the 60th anniversary of @geminigel, the legendary Los Angeles fine-art printmaking workshop, publisher, and gallery, including a tour of its #FrankGehry-designed space, where artists including #RichardSerra, Julie Mehretu, Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, Ellsworth Kelly, Frank Stella, and so many more have created.

We also had a little interactive art moment! 😍

Saturday, visits to @louissternfinearts for Ynez Johnston: In Search of the Oracle and @hauserwirth for David Smith: Spray Paintings, 1958–1964—and more!

A beautiful weekend celebrating art, artists, and our creative community. Art makes me feel inspired, elevated, and alive. ✨ by @roxiestories

Last night’s preview of @giada__studio x @ryansaghian handcrafted rug collection at @eichholtzcalifornia ✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us!

So many catching my eye—the yellow-hued Serpent 🐍, mohair ombré green, and that checkered rug to name a few. 😍 (Scoll to catch a glimpse!)

See you tonight for the kickoff of @wehodesigndistrict Design West Hollywood!

Life is moving so fast. ✨
Went to @theotherartfair today and look who I ran into — @jayshetty & @radhidevlukia. 🤍

And my oracle reading from Motel Nostalgia by Greek artist @feialexeli was right on. (Slides 2–4.) “LET IT RUN.” 🐎

Then off to the MAK Center benefit event (more on that later), where I ran into someone from another lifetime ago. 📖

My head is spinning at it all… and yet, somehow, it also all makes sense. 🌕✨

Shouldn’t we always be a little in awe of it all? 🔮

Surf’s up in El Zonte, El Salvador 🇸🇻🌊
A quick long weekend getaway for the last days of summer, learning to surf — and actually getting up many times! 🏄🏽‍♀️ A little El Tunco exploring along the way. ✨

Just one part of our El Salvador adventures with friends. More to share. 🌞

Development is moving quickly there. We saw construction and change unfolding in nearly real time. 🚧 by @roxiestories
