POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I opened my first solo museum exhibition — “Folklore” （万家灯火）! Taking over SuZhou HanShan Art Museum for two months.

“Folklore” presents the methodologies of how communities can be formed through art initiatives. From an archive we formed to document people’s life-stories across China, to participatory projects that requires thousands of people’s collaborative efforts.

Throughout the exhibition, the museum is transformed into a gathering space for visitors to view the stories of strangers from all over the country. With the collaborations of universities, primary schools, participants, charities and online communities, the show will also serve as an archival space of local voices and memories.

I am very grateful, excited, tired and humbled to share this. And so so thankful for the people that give me the support I needed to push through.

There are many more memories that I don’t have a photo of, but I carry them with me in my heart.
