“Gatherings” A few moments from last night’s opening at Bankside Gallery, with the exhibition opened by the incredible Michael Taylor of Paupers Press. What an honour to exhibit with LOOP @loop_artists for the first time this year. It’s a wonderful group of artists and printmakers, and such a pleasure to see the work together in the gallery. 🤍Thank you to the lovely LOOP team, amazing @juliehoyleartist ,and everyone involved for putting together such a beautiful exhibition and for making me feel so welcome. LOOP 2026 is open until 13 September at Bankside Gallery @banksidegallery London Open daily, 11am–6pm Closing party 13th 2-6pm Live printmaking in the gallery every day I’m showing 9 collagraph prints with clay elements. A series exploring repetition and connection. Bringing printmaking and clay together changes how the prints are experienced, they become objects as well as images. The dialogue between the two materials reflects the way I work, allowing ideas to emerge through process while creating space for reflection and personal connection. #loopartists #banksidegallery #royapourzadigilham #printmaker by @roya_p.gil
A few installation views from _ Echoes of Renewal _ at Occupied by Strange Company. It was a pleasure to be part of this exhibition and to see the work come together within the unique atmosphere of Safehouse. Each room held its own unique atmosphere, and it was wonderful to spend time with artists and visitors, sharing conversations about the work and the exhibition. Thank you to @emmabrownphotography for these wonderful photographs and to @juliehoyleartist for bringing together such a thoughtful and beautifully curated show. Image 1:House Guardian - 3:Vessel and Source 4:Echo 5:Future In response to the atmosphere of SafeHouse, this body of work explores renewal and the continuation of life within spaces shaped by time and loss. Through vessels and prints, it considers ideas of containment and protection, holding memory and the potential for transformation. Water appears as a life-giving presence, while figures drawn from myth reflect acts of care and continuation. Together, the works sit between absence and presence, suggesting that what remains may still hold the possibility of return. #safehouses #royapourzadi #printmaking #ceramics #clay by @roya_p.gil
