A morning chasing our shadows again - glorious!
As it’s spreadsheet day, here are some numbers for you all to file away:
RTW parkrun #558
Participants: 343
Volunteers: 49
First timers to RTW: 54
First timers to any parkrun: 7
Personal bests achieved: 42
Free apples crunched: uncountable (thanks Quintin)

it’s national International Sloth Day, so well done to all of us for beating everyone else out of bed! You deserve a lazy afternoon. It’s also UK Coffee Week, and we all did our bit towards that by hanging out in and around the cafe after our 5k. Thank you to everyone involved today!!

For those looking for more socialising fun, put 21 November in your diaries for our next evening get together in The Royal Oak.

Do you love parkrun but don’t love photos?
If you see a one of our official photographers or volunteers with cameras, simply cross your arms in front of your face - in the same way as in this pic(created as an example only) is doing here or thumbs down, and we’ll avoid taking your pic. We also won’t post it on social media, which is the important part. Your wishes come first.

Alternatively, if you spot a picture of yourself and would rather not see it again: speak to us, email us and we’ll take it down as soon as possible.
We want to celebrate the joy of parkrun without anyone ever feeling uncomfortable in front of a camera. Thank you for your support. @parkrunuk #loveparkrun #rtwparkrun #parkrunuk taken in Royal Tunbridge Wells Parkrun by @royaltwparkrun

What would a parkrun be without support and volunteers?
How would you like to be a high vis hero? Cheering participant on and pointing them in the right direction?
We need marshals as usual, so please get in touch royaltunbridgewells@parkrun.com thanks!

How was your parkrun yesterday? Were you one of our 49 participants that got a PB? Whether on our course or full stop. A big thank you to all our pacers this year, you were so supportive of those chasing you! @parkrunuk #loveparkrun #parkrunuk #pacers #parkrun taken in Royal Tunbridge Wells Parkrun by @royaltwparkrun

Perfect conditions for our weekly parkrun and a PB, as 49 of you managed with huge thanks to 60 volunteers and pacers. 344 of you crossed the line, making this our 13th consecutive parkrun with an attendance of more than 300 – something that’s not been achieved here before. We also congratulate and thank our 61 first timers including 14 first first timers. Well done everyone! @parkrunuk #loveparkrun #5k #rtwparkrun #parkrunuk #parkrun taken in Royal Tunbridge Wells Parkrun by @royaltwparkrun

Surprise, Saturday is another pacer day - yippee! If anyone is hiding the fact they would love to be a parkrun volunteer, then guess what? We still need 2 more marshals if possible, so please get in touch royaltunbridgewells@parkrun.com thanks!

Incredible - here’s more of you enjoying our double header parkrun, and the last lot for this week. Congratulations to you all. 22 years of parkrun and many more to come, so hopefully we’ll see a lot more of you! And that’s a wrap, a big 🙌 to all you involved. A day of love, so much shown by the happy couple, and everyone who ran, walked, talked and celebrated an amazing community event that started 22 years ago. Big love back to you all and thank you. #loveparkrun #rtwparkrun #parkrunuk #22gether @parkrunuk 📸 @picsbyrcm taken in Royal Tunbridge Wells Parkrun by @royaltwparkrun
