INITIAL MOVE ➡️ COUNTERS 🎯🏀

Working on foot speed, getting somewhere with ONE dribble, balance shooting, being sharp with our angles, and lunging/jumping into open space. Every dribble has a purpose create separation, force a reaction, and keep the defender on their toes.

🏀 Pound pocket → Throw-out dribble → Left-right into balance → Middy
🏀 Pound pocket → 1-dribble throw-out → Behind the back → Escape into open space → Middy
🏀 Pound pocket → Throw-out dribble → Behind the back → Middy → Left-hand lay
🏀 Switch sides → Behind the back → Pound pocket → Throw-out dribble → Behind the back → Double pound → Half spin → Goofy lay

The goal isn’t to memorize combos. Build an initial move with purpose, read how the defender cuts you off, then have a counter ready.

Get somewhere with your dribble. Be sharp with your angles. Attack open space. Get balanced. Make the read.

One dribble should change the possession 🎯
