I’m bacccck!

I printed the remaining shipping labels yesterday, and we’re down to just 25 orders! They’re some big ones, but everything will be out by Friday!

The last four weeks have been a blur, and I’m pretty amazed our little two-person team managed to ship over 1,100 orders and within our stated TAT! I’m honestly surprised I’m not dreaming about packing polish at this point. 😂 Thank you all SO much for your patience!

I also wanted to share a little sneak peek at “My Sweet Boy”, a special polish coming in November in loving memory of Iggy. 💙 This one is especially close to my heart. If you love blue/purple shimmer and holo, it has a similar vibe to Luxe, with shimmer like I used in OMW to Curse Your Ass and (November’s PPU) Beloved By Betty. I’ll share more details soon.

The shop reopens November 7th with Winter Rewind shades and a small restock of Perhaps a Rainbow Gourd! For my sanity, The Rainbow Gourds will be available as singles rather than a full collection. All Winter Rewind shades are uncapped preorder - and will be discounted to $12.50. I will also be offering a few Wildflower Nectars (more deets to come on those too).

One last reminder: USPS is still being extra awful with tracking, and some packages aren’t receiving their first scan for up to two weeks. Don’t lose hope! Your package will eventually scan in, but it will probably be in an entirely different state no where near where you live. 🥲

Hey all! I wanted to post a quick update about some USPS tracking issues we’ve been noticing lately.

Several packages have been sitting on “Label Created” with no acceptance scan at our local distribution center. What appears to be happening is that USPS is skipping these initial scans altogether, and some packages aren’t receiving their first tracking update for over a week, sometimes even longer.

I wanted to reassure everyone that while this is frustrating, it has become a fairly common occurrence lately and does not necessarily mean your package is lost. I originally thought this might have something to do with the new hazmat regulations that went into effect in July, but we’re also seeing it happen with non-hazmat shipments.

Please know that I’m keeping an eye on tracking and hoping things start moving along soon! I completely understand how frustrating it is to see no movement, especially when you’re excited for your order to arrive.

We are hoping to have all remaining orders shipped by the 14th.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to first say thank you for all the kind comments about Iggy. It has been quite the adjustment without him. 💕

We’re down to about 260 orders from over 1,100! 🤯 I honestly don’t know how we’ve done it! We’re hoping to have everything shipped by October 14th, still within our TAT.

October PPU shipped out today, and here’s a sneak peek of November’s “Beloved by Betty” for the Antiques & Oddities theme, inspired by a special pendant owned by Betty White that I purchased a few years ago! ❤️ $2 of every bottle sold will be donated to the Morris Animal Foundation.

I’m unsure if this shade will be capped as I’m waiting on bottles and want to ensure we have enough for Winter Rewind.

Hey everyone!

Kerry and I are still working away, although I’ll be honest, we’re feeling pretty unmotivated this week. I’m actually grateful we have orders to keep us busy though because the house has been so quiet without Iggy. It’s definitely been an adjustment. We appreciate all the kind comments.

I also wanted to mention that I did cap this month’s PPU. I mentioned it a few weeks ago, but with the amount of September orders we’re still working through, I just don’t have enough help to offer it uncapped this time. We’re also pretty emotionally drained from losing Iggy this week and truly can’t add more to our workload right now. Kerry has been pouring like crazy while I’m labeling and packing orders. I have packed around 400 orders so far with still quite a ways to go.

🪄I WILL bring OMW to Curse Your Ass! ✨ back for Rewind in July, so please feel free to spread the word to anyone who missed it!

Paid PR: “OMW to Curse Your Ass” - @royla.lee Oct PPU

Did this month completely sneak up on anyone else?? For October @polishpickup, Royla Lee taps into a witchy frog type of mood with this a vibrant green base with glowly blue/purple shimmer.

This shimmer is really strong, so at 3 coats as shown here the blue does take over in indirect light, with the green base showing up best in sunlight or very bright light. 2 coats showed a bit of VNL on me, but the base comes through better and looks great that way too.

NOTE: Taylor did have to put a cap of 500 on this polish due to the large volume of orders she received last month, so I recommend checking out on the earlier side. There’s also a stain warning, but I didn’t experience any staining over 2x ridge filler.

Reposting here since I forgot to share yesterday.

Hi friends,

We’re still hard at work getting orders shipped out to you, and Kerry is still pouring. I wanted to mention that today we made the extremely difficult decision to let Iggy go.

He lived a long 12, almost 13 years with us. He originally came to us after Kerry’s mom adopted him and was no longer able to care for him, and he quickly became such a huge part of our family. He was the last of our original pack, which makes this loss feel especially heavy.

Iggy was so goofy, so special, and completely himself. Lately, he had been dealing with cognitive decline along with several other issues, and we knew it was time.

We are still working behind the scenes, but things may move a little slower while we grieve our sweet boy. We will miss him every single day.

This polish was inspired by a cartoon of a whimsical witchy frog riding a broomstick, with the polish name as a caption. (Taylor got permission to use the inspo from the artist—we love a queen who respects artists’ IP) Such a cute interpretation of the whimsigoth theme! 🐸

I can’t describe just how glowy and shifty this polish is—it really looked so different as I wore it in different lighting conditions.

Wearing 3 coats under a clear base and topped with quick dry top coat. Shown in direct sun, shade, bright indoor indirect natural light, and low indoor indirect natural light.

Thanks to everyone who purchased Mother to Kittens!

We sold 400 bottles, which means a $2,400 donation to the OKC Pet Food Pantry! What an amazing way to celebrate Levy’s birthday - even if we are celebrating a little early since his birthday isn’t until October!

I was also able to get 100 orders packed today! I only have a small handful of colors left to mix, and we are making great progress getting everything poured, packed, and out the door.
