They might only take home $100k.
Revenue feeds the ego.

Most of the founders only dominate one side of the game. They are great at selling. Or they are great at building. Almost never both. If you can sell but can’t deliver properly, you scale fast and then drown in rotation, team stress, refunds and reputation damage. If you can build but you can’t sell, you get stuck in comfort. Subloading. Waiting for references. Working too hard for very little. The real ceiling in business is not effort. It’s an imbalance. When you can close with confidence, deliver at a high level, systematize the backend and pack it properly, you stop chasing income and start creating predictable profits. And predictable profit is what creates freedom. Most people try to climb before it is solid on both sides. Master in sales. Main building. Everything changes after that.. by @rparkerrjames
