Bring what you no longer want/need, take what you do. We share other free resources/events in our stories; RRFM flyers have 🦝 on them.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Do you have some knowledge or skills that you want to share freely? The main library has some incredible new meeting rooms and we want to help you coordinate and promote workshops and skillshares in these spaces. We can also provide free masks to offer attendees. What would you like to teach other members of the community? Vegan cooking? Bubble poi? Repair skills? Collage? Reach out by DM if you have ideas or questions! Thank you to @musingbluejay for making this flyer!

image description: a gopher tortoise digs out a hole. Gopher tortoises create space for many other creatures, so we thought they would be a good mascot for this workshop project. A small cartoon raccoon face is saying, "*call for workshops*" Beneath that, the text says, "we want to help dig out a space for sharing skills and knowledge! anyone can teach and anyone can learn!" by @rrfm.tally

Free 3D printed mobility aids available upon request, 3D printed by @fated_filaments ! They have made things like finger splints for hypermobility and one-handed shirt buttoner helpers (we could not think of the more succinct name lol) available at the Really Really Free Market, but they wanted to make this service available to people even if they are unable to come to the market. You can search for existing designs on yeggi.com. As long as the design itself is free and it can be printed on their mini printer, they will print it for you. Being disabled is expensive enough! Reach out to them by DM. Photo of finger splints by @minianemone by @rrfm.tally

Access information! Huge thank yous again to Jay @eclipsedsunflwr for compiling all this information. I will edit this post with alt text on each slide when I am not so very sleepy. TMI: I had to delete a ton of cat photos and videos to have enough storage for these slides. by @rrfm.tally

Want to learn basic machine sewing? Want to support trans people in an increasingly hostile world? Want to be in close proximity to well-curated books and delicious taiyaki? Well, you're never gonna believe this but you can totally do all that this Thursday! Apologies for the short notice but the blocks are due on the 11th, but I will try to do a similar workshop again in the future.
Thursday, September 3rd at Common Ground Books (1102 S Adams Unit 10) stop by between 5 and 8 to help make "economy blocks" for the Sockeye Quilt Collective @sockeye_quilt . They will sew all the blocks into a community quilt, which they will raffle off to raise funds for trans people leaving Idaho. Give them a follow if you want to see the quilt and get a raffle ticket! All materials and tools will be provided (thank you to @penelopey for donating the beautiful fabrics in the image above). This workshop is free! by @rrfm.tally

The next Really Really Free Market will be Sunday, August 30th, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM! Bring what you no longer need, take what you do need or want! Leon County Main Library, Program Rooms A *and* B (wow!) on the first floor, 200 W Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL. As always, masks are required. As always, please bring your items early on in the event so they have the best chance of finding a home. As always, we would LOVE help cleaning up at the end. As almost always, there will be free mending available. DMing about your mend in advance helps ensure I bring the right materials. See one of the pinned posts for information about accessibility, and please reach out if there's anything we've missed. The art for this flyer is from the book Raccoon Moon by Nancy Carol Willis. OK see you, bye! by @rrfm.tally

Hey, let's all make a zine together! There are many valid ways to make a zine and this sure is one of them! In this free workshop we will learn how to make a black and white "half-letter" (8.5"x5.5") sized zine. The content of the zine (a recipe zine for cooking with common food pantry ingredients) will be typed out in advance, and together we will make art for, format, and assemble the zine for distribution in the community! Monday, March 9th, 2026 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Leon County Main Library in Meeting Room A on the 2nd floor. Masks are required! We hope to see you there! by @rrfm.tally

Join us Sunday, February 22nd, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM in Program Room A of the Leon County Main Library for the next Really, Really Free Market! As always, masks are required (we keep us safe). As always, please bring your offerings at the beginning of the event so they have the best chance of finding a new home, lightening the load of the volunteers (maybe you?) who help clean up. As (almost) always, there will be a free mending service available; it does help if you DM us about your mend in advance so we can make sure to have the necessary supplies on hand. See one of our pinned posts for accessibility info, and please do not hesitate to reach out if there is something we haven't considered. See you there!

This is a Buy Nothing event - some of our crafters are local vendors who'll have info about their businesses and we may have a local food vendor and some mutual aid orgs accepting donations, but otherwise this is a completely free event!

**If you are interested in demoing a craft, reach out to us via DM** taken in Tallahassee, Florida by @rrfm.tally

📣🫵 CRAFTY FOLKS WANTED

We're throwing together a little shindig with our buddy @rrfm.tally and are looking for volunteers to help us celebrate BUY NOTHING DAY (11/28) instead of Black Friday.

We'll be demoing crafts that you can make for your loved ones this holiday season and sharing info about local businesses you can support instead of big box stores.

Doesn't that sound so fun?!

Don't have a craft to share but still wanna volunteer? We have plenty of ideas to go around! DM or e-mail if you'd like to help us out! taken in Tallahassee, Florida by @rrfm.tally
