Feeling so grateful for this incredible review from @alan_walsh_writes 🖤

It means the world to hear how The Devouring connected with readers - especially the parts that explore fear, humanity, and the darker sides of ordinary life.

Thank you, Alan, for such thoughtful words and for really getting what this book is about.

Publishing The Devouring has been the wildest, scariest, most rewarding experience of my life.

Here are five things I’ve learned along the way - about writing, fear, and doing the thing you’re terrified to do anyway. 🖤

TWO HUNDRED & FIFTY REVIEWS 4.4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫s 👻😱🥂👻😱🥂 So pleased to hit this milestone 💪. I remember the fear of self publishing, telling myself anything over 3 stars would be fine. Holding strong at 4.4 ⭐️s feels surreal 🤩 Huge thanks to everyone who took the time to leave a review 🙏 taken in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK by @rs_cunningham

Whoop whoop!! My heart skips a beat every time I spot a new ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review! 😭
They matter so much. Not only do they help new readers find The Devouring, they remind me why I write these uncanny, spooky stories in the first place.
If you’ve read The Devouring but haven’t left a review yet… I'd love it if you did. 👻✨

Cambodia photo dump 🐒 🌴😎
It's hard to put into words how magical and fantastical it was to see the ancient sites of Cambodia. From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Wat, Koh Rong and lastly to Kampot, it's a truly ancient and inspirational place, brimming with history (good and bad) with the loveliest people.
Highly recommended!!

✨Lit to the Tit July Books of the Month✨

Back once again with two books of the month to choose from, spoilt for choice 👅

Are you a spoOooOoky girlie that celebrates Summerween ?? 🎃👻 or maybe IG tradwife meets Shutter Island vibes is more your bag ??? 🤠

Here’s our 2 Book of the Month picks 📚

💀 The Devouring by @rs_cunningham

Suspenseful, twist-driven, and unflinching. The Devouring is an Irish psychological horror that creeps under your skin and refuses to let go.
Under the glow of fairy lights in a quiet belfast suburb, a group of women gather for what should be a harmless autumn evening of ghost stories. But some stories aren’t told…. They’re unleashed.

A haunting supernatural thriller that lingers long after the final page.

AND Author @rs_cunningham is joining us at our July meet up for a special Q&A ✍🏽 hosted by @bookish_belfast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next up, Book #2

🧑‍🌾 Yesteryear by @caroclaireburke

An American tradwife’s immaculate Instagram presence unravels in the most unexpected way in this addictive and utterly unpredictable firecracker of a debut that shatters the mirror of influencer culture !!!!

*flew through this in May and LOVED IT (although I did finish the last 30 mins after sharing 3 bottles of wine and will need to relisten before the meet up 😆) Yesteryear book discussion will be hosted by our very own @farheenrx_ and @cathmcq !!!! Can’t wait ♥️

So there we have it; our July books !!!! Read one or both if you’re feeling hardcore 👅 OR NEITHER if you just come to bookclub for the vibes !!!!! You’re welcome either way 💃🏽

Just 4 spots left for our July meet up and can be snapped up through the link in our bio 🔗 🎟️ SEE YIZ ON THE 22ND !!!!!!! XXXXXXYZ
