Going through the archives and finding a few shoots that never made it to the feed. Finally giving them some time on the timeline.

Serving up some peacock energy this morning 🦚✨ A little drama, a little elegance, and no intention of blending in.

What is Peacock energy? 🦚
Peacocks don’t hide what makes them beautiful, they display it. To me, peacock energy is about taking up space, embracing what makes you stand out, and not shrinking yourself to make other people comfortable.

Playing with color, contrast, and a little bit of light. Warm tones against cool tones and seeing how far a simple lighting setup can shape the mood.

Saturday night I had a blast photographing Currents & Cocktails, benefiting the Nashville Public Library Foundation. The evening was filled with great music, a fun crowd, and a lot of support for a cause that helps strengthen our community.

Here are a couple of my favorite black-and-white moments from the performance by @ryasmiles at @goodfellaspie .

As I wrap my Italy trip photos, I wanted to post a few more of my street photo favorites.

There’s something unique about street photography. You’re capturing a fleeting moment that will never exist in quite the same way again.

Moments most of the world will never see and that might have gone unnoticed if you weren’t present enough to witness them.

That’s what I love about street photography: it reminds me to pay attention.

These are some of my favorite street photography captures from Italy. They are moments I couldn’t have planned but they caught my eye. They are beautiful and gone a second later. You have to be present in the moment to noticed these brief encounters.

Street performance magic by @compagnia_magma in Salerno, Italy.

Even from the back of the crowd, the energy was impossible to miss. Keech and I discovered this beautiful #fire show while walking the streets of Salerno. We found a restaurant, sat outside, had a glass of wine and some lovey snacks and enjoyed the #incredible show! An exciting evening.

A couple more from Katie’s senior session 🤍 Knowing she hopes to work with and train horses made every part of this session feel even more meaningful 🐎

We had so much fun creating these moments! Super grateful to my friend for opening up her place (and trusting us with her horse + cat!) to make it all happen ✨🎓

Katie’s senior session felt so her! Cap & gown, classic portraits, and time with a horse as she steps into her goal of working with and training them 🐎

I love getting to document this season and celebrate seniors becoming who they’re meant to be 🤍

And a big thank you to my friend for sharing her space (and her horse + cat!) with us. It made this Senior session even more special ✨🎓
