Me vs the Italian sun. I was losing.

The first of many, many, many gelato we would have on this trip. This is pistachio + lemon!

As an ex Camparista I’ve always wanted to visit @camparinoingalleria

Dinner at @moebiussperimentale ; the venison and oyster combo blew my mind it was so good!

The wine shop @cantine_isola that was founded in 1896 🤯 Almost as old as modern Singapore (1819)

There was a little café a short walk away from our hotel, and they had these wild strawberry mini tarts with the most intense flavour. I had a few of these every morning!

Incredible hospitality and event with the Moebius team!

Lots of pec bouncing going on 💪🏻

So nice to see friends we know from Asia ❤️

Needless to say, we planned our wedding around food and drinks… culminating in three days of feasting and plenty of cocktails with our favourite people 🥰

A massive thank you to @demie_kim @ethan_bartender @uno_jang_ @rurraca @albertogilbon @konczol for the amazing cocktails. Having our friends behind the bar made it that much more special. And to @chefwayan @marykresnayasa , for the incredible dinner!

To our unsung heroes behind the scenes @jonicamonan @alvinsungj @cocktailsxconvos @jonaddicted @fabien_marcault @stefwijono , none of this could have happened without you.

To @colincyc , the most EPIC yumseng master who charmed old and young alike, I’m still getting compliments about you!!!

Finally, to our wonderful planner @avavibali_weddings , for pulling everything together beautifully.

We couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate.

It takes a village to dress a bride & groom ❤️

For the tea ceremony, I wanted a qipao from Shanghai, a city I once called home. @hanyi_official brought it to life with rindō flowers 竜胆 and bamboo leaves from Thomas’ family crest 家紋, weaving a little of his Japanese heritage into mine.

Thomas wore batik by @anmako_singapore , founded by his mum and aunt. I loved that what we wore carried pieces of both our families with us.

Then came the Saigon chapter. 6 months out and still dressless, I was there for a bar industry panel when a spontaneous wedding dress hunt led me to @leciabridal . They ended up creating both my wedding and reception dresses, while my search for the perfect afterparty dress eventually led me to @rubies.sg

Somewhere along the way, my wedding wardrobe became a group project. @annievu @jaymoir85 @mattachini.alex @lorenzagaja @colincyc @aliciacls @maivantrang @jeen_jeenie , thank you for being my village. I could not have done it without you!

“One last beer, come on…” And one last beer we had. Random photo drop of a few Mexican days with friends, old and new.
I was there to celebrate @handshake_bar anniversary (more on that soon), had the best ever Frozen Margarita, revisited old favourites and discovered new bars. There were vintage cars and fake fights too. And bubbles, of course. Soapy bubbles.
