Our Brazilian espresso is currently the house roast at Rua and many bags of our beans stock the shelves in their beautiful spot under the arches of Holloway Road. We headed down a couple weeks ago to celebrate the launch of our spooky season filter blend!

Not only do the team at Rua make an incredible selection of coffees and other delicious drinks (shoutout to the peach iced matcha), their baked goods and breakfast burritos are known across London. Head down there if you like a spot with high-quality coffee, a book exchange, enough space to sit and hang out comfortably, and more dinosaurs than you can count.

We’re currently experiencing VERY high demand for our Burritos on the weekends so here’s a few things you should know before your visit!

1 - Burritos start from 9ish until they sell out, usually at around 1pm but sometimes earlier and sometimes later. At 2pm the kitchen closes for the day.

2 - We try our best to keep wait times under 35 minutes, and if the wait time exceeds this we temporarily stop accepting orders until we get back ahead of the queue.

3 - We don’t take reservations or accept orders to be collected at a certain time.

4 - Try our coffee and cookies as well because they’re amazing

We love how many of you have come to visit the past few months and we appreciate all the amazing feedback and support.

Gosh, we love RUA ☕️
We’re always so pleased to see the place buzzing. It’s almost always busy, but somehow it never feels crowded — just full of life.
Friends catching up on the latest life updates, coworkers grabbing a quick coffee after lunch, locals rushing in for a flat white to survive the morning commute, and remote workers having their classic “work from a café” day…
Everyone is welcome, and everyone gets to enjoy RUA’s great coffee.

The coffee is always top-notch — from the classics done perfectly to the seasonal specials that keep things exciting. It’s no surprise that RUA has earned its place among the TOP 40 spots in the latest edition of The London Coffee Guide ☕️
RUA is such a great example of how thoughtful renovation of urban space can create a true third place for people to meet, work, and simply enjoy being there.
