Ceremony ❤️
We shared love under the trees, barefoot and dancing all night. My family flew in from Australia, and we gathered in beauty at Savary Resort for three days decompressing in the sauna and ice tub, eating delicious food, and cleansing in the ocean. A time I’ll always cherish. ✨🌊🌿

G’day, I’m Ruby, an Australian living in Prince Rupert, BC 🤍
I picked up a film camera at a young age and eventually felt it was time to travel the world. Along the way, photography slowly grew into something I really loved.
After becoming a mum, photography became something that brought me back to myself, something that was just for me.

Now I offer both film and digital sessions, weaving my love for nature into my art and capturing the beauty I see in you.

So grateful for @capturedmomentsbycass for these beautiful photos and for the little community of photographers I’ve found here 🤍

If you’re looking for something natural, creative and a little different, I’d love to capture your essence.

A reel saved in drafts.
2025 ✨ 2026
Goodbye New Zealand, Australia
hello Canada.
big moves, motherhood, creating a business feeling the lowest I possibly could, and somehow finding the magic.

Mostly Maya. Her first steps, watching you grow, and learning how to grow alongside you while slowly finding the shape of myself again.

Dancing my way through motherhood, so honored to carry you through life ❤️ It’s been the hardest journey I’ve ever embarked on, but also the most transformative. Still waiting for you to sleep through the night… they say it’ll come, but honestly, it’s all worth it.

“The forest is where I come home to myself.” 🌿
.
Hi, I’m Ruby. Motherhood changed me in ways I never expected. Photography and nature became the places where I found myself again. You’ll often find me barefoot in the forest, chasing soft light and the beauty of moments. Through my lens, I hope to create images that feel honest, timeless, and deeply connected to nature.
