Walk to School Day is This Wednesday!
Get your walking shoes ready and participate from 7:15–7:45 a.m. by walking or riding your bike to school. If you normally drive, you can even park in the neighborhood and use the crosswalk to enter campus. Walk to school day promotes healthy bodies, safe pedestrians, and a cleaner environment. This will start our day with some fresh air, movement, and stickers! by @ruby_drive_elementary

THE ARTS BUILD PERSEVERANCE.

The first attempt isn’t always the final product.

A difficult passage takes practice. A painting may need another layer. A scene may need another rehearsal. A choreography may take countless repetitions.

The arts teach students that growth takes time and that mistakes are part of learning.

Practice. Revise. Try again. Grow.

Those lessons last long after the class ends.

Come enjoy lunch with your scholar and then visit classrooms to see AVID in action! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the AVID strategies your students use every day and see firsthand how they support learning, organization, and success.
