For the past 6 months, we’ve been working on some films for @theoutrunners - a youth charity based in Hackney Wick. The films dive into the heart of two programs they run: the Youth Academy, which trains 16-21 year-olds for their first half or full marathon, and their 13+ weekly community sessions.

Despite the crazy amount of shoot days, lime credit spent tracking their runs and endless hours in the edit suite, it never really felt like work because filming with the kids was so fun and inspiring. We’re grateful for the funding from @nike and feel so lucky for it to have been our first major project as a studio.

Next week we’ll be showing the films at The Rio Cinema in Dalston on Tuesday 13th Oct 6.30-8pm. Tickets are free via the link in bio. Please come down and join us! by @rubyseresin

In 2019, Calum O’Neill’s world began to shift. Diagnosed with Ataxia, a neurological condition affecting coordination and balance, Calum was forced to step away from his job at Pophams and give up cycling on two wheels.

Frame of Mind is an intimate portrait of Calum’s transition from two wheels to three. Now a member of the GB talent programme, Calum sets his sights on the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.

His journey wouldn’t be possible without the support of his family, @pophamsbakery founder @goldollie, professional cyclist @taogeogheganhart, and most recently @merciancycles who have engineered a custom-built trike — designed specifically for elite para-cycling.

Digital Intervention for Psychedelic Preparedness (DIPP) is a web app I co-developed for @hippopotaros ‘s research at UCL in order to support safe, prepared engagement with psychedelics for therapeutic benefit in clinical trials.

The work they’re doing is amazing and I’m honoured to have contributed in some way!

“A Sense of Limit” - my first essay film, all about sensory perception 🫆🐌👅🫎🦋👂🏼encouraging us to imagine the world as seen, heard and felt by other beings. In doing so we recognise the limits of our own experience and can move towards humility, curiosity and empathy for all beings! 🌎

Screening next week alongside some other films/discussion, Tues 15th July, 7pm @standpointgallery in Hoxton! Link in bio if you want to come by @rubyseresin
