We prepped so well in the kitchen for a monster weekend, and then our grill/gas broke today and we couldn’t cook
anything :(((
Only coffee, tea, pastries, salad and smiles today. Tomorrow we will be closed, solving problems.
Still had a great day though with our folks from the @jtreeswapmeet and dear regulars.

See you after the holiday on January 2nd, we’ll be open again 8am-3pm, 5 days a week.

Oh, the journey a heart can take in 8 years.
Here’s my beautiful mother Joan, on a night with our young spies about the hometown, St. Petersburg, FL.
Two years prior to her gentle and loving departure, here she is beaming her usual light at a cool bar & venue called The Amsterdam, which I guess is no longer in downtown St. Pete.
I am so grateful our folks raised us in a deeply diverse blue dot by the Gulf of Mexico, with its heart deeply rooted in the arts.

No matter the number of loved ones passed or sacred coastline ravaged by storm waters, or beloved homes torn down & trees killed by the profit-hungry, this town will always be a home to my resilient heart.

Grief is another arm of the self, since every life will know grief. The deep connections we’re lucky to have with the light beings in our lives, they never really die or end. The energy stays and the frequency changes. When my Mom was alive, I could pick up the phone and call directly into her frequency anytime I wanted to, pretty much.
Now 6 years after her passing, her frequency is sweetly humming in the background, always, and I can tune in when I’m able to get quiet for a moment. So… still pretty much whenever I wish and she’s there, full of grace and a smile which released prismatic lasers into even the hardest hearts.

Lucky to have a radio dial full of enriching frequencies on this side and the other. Here’s to the whole lot of you. ❤️‍🔥 taken in St. Petersburg, FL by @rubysweaters
