Life and Love is out today 🤍🪁

This is the final song from 35, and the one I always knew had to close the album.

After all the trauma, grief, shock, and loss… I kept coming back to one question:

How am I going to live my life now?

…and the answer became this song.

I wrote it at the piano, which is deeply connected to my mom and my brother. It starts quietly, then slowly builds into strings, drums, and a chorus of voices from people I love.

Every time those voices come in, it wells me up…because it reminds me of all the people who showed up for me 🥹

This song is not about pretending grief disappears…it’s about choosing to live with love anyway.

We prepped so well in the kitchen for a monster weekend, and then our grill/gas broke today and we couldn’t cook
anything :(((
Only coffee, tea, pastries, salad and smiles today. Tomorrow we will be closed, solving problems.
Still had a great day though with our folks from the @jtreeswapmeet and dear regulars.

See you after the holiday on January 2nd, we’ll be open again 8am-3pm, 5 days a week.
