POSTS STORIES REELS

We’re Kelsey & Talon — a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Austin, TX, and available anywhere the two of you want to be.

We met by chance at a coffee shop through mutual friends, had our first date at a bookstore (Kelsey made the first move), and have been building something together ever since. What started as Kelsey photographing families and asking Talon to second shoot her first weddings in 2010 became a 16+ year partnership in life and behind the lens - and building a life we love deeply.

Our branding photos were taken in our own home — because that’s exactly the feeling we hope to create for every couple and family we photograph. At ease. Fully themselves.

Kelsey is the visionary: romantic, intuitive, drawn to the wild and the beautiful. Talon is the thinker: quietly observant, architectural in his eye, the most calming presence in any room. Together we bring comprehensive coverage and a dynamic that our couples feel from the moment they meet us.

We shoot every wedding on both film and digital — medium format, 35mm, and digital woven together — because your images should feel like heirlooms the first time you see them.

And then August arrived, and everything shifted. Becoming parents made us understand in a completely new way how fast the seasons move. That urgency — to catch the real moments before they’re gone, to cement them permanently into your heart and memory — lives in every frame we make now.
We’ve photographed 400+ weddings, been featured in BRIDES, Martha Stewart Weddings, The New York Times, Over The Moon, and Style Me Pretty — and we still recap every single wedding on the drive home.

If that sounds like the kind of photography team you’ve been looking for — we’d love to hear about your day.

We are so excited to see Ansley & Jonathan’s wedding weekend on @theknot! A&J are warm and inviting and intentional, and their family & friends came ready to PARTY. It was a maximalist’s dreamland, a fever dream of a weekend with an insanely talented vendor team. This is just a small glimpse in to some of our favorite images from their wedding day, narrowing down to just this felt impossible. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the magic of this weekend, it was one for the storybooks. ✨

We are so excited to see Carmen & Bryce's colorful, floral-filled celebration on @overthemoon today! 🌸 It was truly a one-of-a-kind weekend, and it took hours of deliberation just to narrow down to this set of photos. There were so many unique and special details, from custom candles as favors to the poppers as place cards (filled with starbursts and paper crowns for everyone to don at dinner) to THE most epic custom dance floor you will EVER see (go ahead and scroll) – this was one weekend we won't ever forget! ✨

While beautiful spaces may need little to be beautiful, lush floral and intentional pieces take things to the next level while still feeling perfectly placed.

Happy anniversary to Sara Paxton and Zach Cregger! 🥂

Fun fact: everyone’s favorite mermaid married the iconic filmmaker right here at The Addison Grove in 2019. We’re so honored we got to be part of such a beautiful, special day, and we’re still smiling thinking about it. Cheers to you both!

Almost every detail from Kelsi & Dan’s maximalist May wedding was a decision we spent hours making. From the color selections for the stage and bar, custom Ginori menus, how we incorporated Jordy the dog, and everything in between...this one was a labor of love 🫧

A drag queen dressed as a WEDDING CAKE, giant pink hearts, and a bride who baked EIGHT cakes for her own wedding. 🎂💗 And that’s just the beginning.

Jordan + Charlie’s Austin wedding was a pastel fever dream in the very best way. Charlie is from China, Jordan grew up in Florida, and every detail made room for both.

They exchanged vows beneath blooming wisteria at @woodbinemansion, in front of oversized pink hearts painted with the Chinese double happiness symbol. And instead of a traditional reception? A drag brunch, complete with rhinestones, feathers, a mimosa cart, and larger-than-life performances.

And the DETAILS! Lilac parasols dripping with flowers. Stacked orange centerpieces with pink orchids, because oranges mean luck at a Chinese wedding and they’re pure Florida. Custom illustrated menus, and a giant tiered cake display covered in cherries. Oh, and did I mention the bride is a cake decorator who made all eight cakes herself?!

Their advice to other couples? “Make it as weird as you want it to be.” 👏💕 I couldn’t agree more.

🎂 Comment CAKE and I’ll DM you the full wedding, including the story behind all eight cakes (one is the first cake she ever had as a baby).

An after party at C-Boys ❤️‍🔥 Madison & David closed out their wedding at @matties and led their guests straight to C-Boys for the night — not before changing the entire color palette from yellow to red to mark the moment. A jazz club, a bright red jumpsuit, and a room full of people ready to keep celebrating - light by the disco ball and the glowing red heart behind the bar. The party doesn't have to stop after your exit.
